This place should be on a bbq lovers foodie bucket list. The hype is real and the wait is long. Plan to arrive early before they sell out. Check out the reviews on yelp to learn more about what you are in for. The fatty brisket is the way to go for meat lovers, sausage gets a lot of praise also. Plan for 3-4 hour wait times BYOB, it's an experience many guests like to do on their trip to Austin. A staple vegetarian restaurant been around for decades but has a nice garden area. Great salads! The garden patch salad with cashew tamari dressing is my fave.

They serve a very healthy organic macrobiotic meal plate for dinner and brunches. It's also a very nice and peaceful zen atmosphere also some great yoga and spiritual classes held here

Fast food Austin style, pretty good burger restaurant that tries to use somewhat better ingredients. Also have a great veggie burger option but it's not vegan. These tend to be open late when you need something quick and close by, it's a drive-thru

Korean fusion restaurant. Great simple healthy food with lots of fresh and raw veggies. I like the garden hand roll with added hummus or smoked salmon, bimbibap, and the springs rolls are yummy also. Cute place that's good for mixed dietary groups, the lines can get long so go on off hours for fastest service. Parking can be challenging there's an alley behind the restaurant you can park in sometimes or find street spots

Popular taco chain in Austin. Lots of good taco options here for meat lovers or vegetarians. The fried avocado tacos and the Independent are great! Migas tacos are good too! The tacos with brisket are very popular also. Don't miss out on their guacamole or yummy queso, very popular! This location has limited parking but there are multiple Torchy's tacos around town that you could go to instead if too crowded.
