Belforte (Vernazza): this is one of the best restaurants in the Cinque Terre both in terms of food and atmosphere. It is located in the Vernazza fort with amazing sea views from the terrace. For a romantic dinner be sure to call well in advance and ask for the ‘lovers table’ (‘il tavolino degli innamorati’) a secluded table for two on the cliff worthy of a marriage proposal.

Gelateria Vernazza has two outlets, one in La Spezia (spoiler alert: the other one is in Vernazza).
It is by far the best ice cream shop in the Cinque Terre and perhaps one of the best in Italy. Their signature flavours are Crema Vernazza and Crema del Golfo.
