Kamaole III is an incredible beach located directly in front of Kamaole Sands condos. Great snorkeling, and waves are typically the calmest here. Recommend for all families especially with smaller children. Great place to see amazing sunsets.

Welcome to BIg Beach home of the big wave! Oneloa or “Big Beach” is the largest beach in Hawaii. There is plenty of open sand no matter how busy Maui gets. The waves can get huge here especially in winter months. If you are new to the ocean it’s not a safe place to swim. Please listen to lifeguard announcements. Feel free to ask lifeguards if the water is safe to enter. Even if the waves are large Big Beach is an amazing place to spend the day. Unlike many of Maui’s beaches there are only port a potties in the parking lot.

Lahaina is a fantastic place to see more historic Maui. It is a tourist location full of shops and restaurants. Most of them are found along Front Street. Parking lots are both free and paid. The biggest free lot is located on the south side of Front Street and a short walk to the world famous banyan tree.

Paia is a great beach town located on the east side of Maui. It is considered the entry way to the road to Hana. Many people drive through without stopping. It is a true beach community with a very relaxed vibe. Free parking lot is located at the entrance of the town on the right hand side as you come from Kahului. The lot is mostly full and if you wait a few minutes people continually leave though out the day.

It is a true beach community with a very relaxed vibe. Free parking lot is located at the entrance of the town on the right hand side as you come from Kahului. The lot is mostly full and if you wait a few minutes people continually leave though out the day.
Kula is a quiet place upcountry away from the beaches. Maui Wine, the lavender farm and Ocean Vodka distillery are located up there. If you are looking for some time away from the sun and heat of the beaches, Kula is a great destination.

Some of Hawaii’s best glass blowers, sculpture and fine artists have shops on Baldwin Avenue. If you enjoy baked goods, the best Malasadas on the island are in the general store, closed Sunday and Wednesday.
