Guide to Värtavägen 60
This is a guide to the neighbourhood at Gärdet, information about transportation and other important information.
How to get here:
From T-centralen you take the red line metro towards ROPSTEN - Get off at station Gärdet and walk towards Frihamnen & Värtahamnen (in the same direction as the train). Go left up the hill- The house is on the left after about 100 meters and is called RIO.
Metro: The nearest metro station is opposite the apartment (down the hill), station called Gärdet. Here you can take the red line (towards T-centralen) and get to T-centralen in about 7 minuets.
Bus: Bus 1 (blue bus) is outside the apartment just down the hill. If you want to go to the city you take the bus towards ”Stora Essingen”. This bus stop is on the opposite side of the apartment, outside the metro station. This bus will take you to Hötorget, Stureplan, Fridhemsplan etc.

Mall: Fältöversten at Karlaplan has a great variety of Cafés, restaurants, fashion stores, food and delicacy stores, home and electronics etc. The Malls opening hours are weekdays 10.00-19.00, Saturday 10.00-18.00 and Sundays 11.00-17.00.

Systembolaget (supermarket for alcohol) : In Sweden we have monopoly on alcohol, meaning that there is only one place where you can buy it and it is called ”systembolaget”. In the mall called ”fältöversten” at Karlaplan you can find the nearest systembolag. You can walk here from the apartment in 15 minuets or take the metro one stop in 2 minuets, or take bus number 1 (towards Stora Essingen) in 5 minuets. The bus stop is called ”Värtavägen”. Systembolaget is open 10.00-19.00 on weekdays and 10.00-15.00 on the weekend (only Saturday!) Systembolaget is closed on Sundays.
