There are numerous great surf schools based in Byron, however one that we highly recommend is Byron Style Surfing, run by Gaz Morgan, a long time surfing local and instructor.
Gaz and his team are there to share the secrets to surfing and make it a fun day for all. They select between Clarkes, Belongil and Tallow Beaches depending on the weather conditions and the best place for learners.

See ‘The Bay’ from a different perspective with Go Sea Kayaks. Launching from Clarkes Beach, you paddle around past Wategos to the most easterly point of Australia, spotting sea turtles and friendly local dolphins along the way. During whale season you might even have the opportunity to get up close to a humpback migrating along the coast. A very special way to experience Byron Bay.
