A 15 minutes bus-ride away, one of the coolest areas of London. From cultural icons like the Tate Modern, National Theatre, Royal Festival Hall and the BFI through street performers, food markets, the used book market under the bridge in front of the BFI and all the way to tourist points like the London Eye, Aquarium, and Westminster houses of parliament. Keep walking and you're in the West End or Covent Garden... (Ok, if you want to get to those to begin with, the tube will take you there more quickly).
