This world famous beach is within walking distance from Langata Lower along the Southshoe road or Warwick dune trails. Horseshoe Bay's wide beach of light-pink sand is not only scenic, but also has everything you need for a great day at the beach – lifeguards, and rentals of everything from towels and beach loungers to snorkeling gear and boogie boards. The beach facility offers everything you need for a wonderful day at the beach. The scenery, sands and turquoise waters make for one of the best beaches anywhere in the world.

Horseshoe Bay Beach
This world famous beach is within walking distance from Langata Lower along the Southshoe road or Warwick dune trails. Horseshoe Bay's wide beach of light-pink sand is not only scenic, but also has everything you need for a great day at the beach – lifeguards, and rentals of everything from towels and beach loungers to snorkeling gear and boogie boards. The beach facility offers everything you need for a wonderful day at the beach. The scenery, sands and turquoise waters make for one of the best beaches anywhere in the world.
From Langata Lower you can walk the Railway Trails or ride your rental bike to Gibbs Hill Lighthouse to enjoy the panoramic views from the top. It is possible to see both the Great Sound and the Southshore even from the Lighthouse grounds at the base.

Gibb's Hill Lighthouse
Saint Anne's RoadFrom Langata Lower you can walk the Railway Trails or ride your rental bike to Gibbs Hill Lighthouse to enjoy the panoramic views from the top. It is possible to see both the Great Sound and the Southshore even from the Lighthouse grounds at the base.
Warwick Long Bay is just a 5 minutes walk away from Langata Lower. Warwick Long bay is Bermuda's longest beach. This beach is quieter than the famous Horseshoe Bay and offers a long stretch of pink, sand beach to explore, plus the adjacent coves are a treat to visit. In summer you’ll also find concession stands selling snacks and renting beach gear (snorkel and flippers etc.). Once on the beach you are on your own, so be sure to take plenty of water. There are toilet facilities but no shower or changing facilities. A very lovely walk, especially in the early morning, is to follow the trails above Warwick Long Bay to the coves and onto Horseshoe Bay.

Warwick Long Bay
Warwick Long Bay is just a 5 minutes walk away from Langata Lower. Warwick Long bay is Bermuda's longest beach. This beach is quieter than the famous Horseshoe Bay and offers a long stretch of pink, sand beach to explore, plus the adjacent coves are a treat to visit. In summer you’ll also find concession stands selling snacks and renting beach gear (snorkel and flippers etc.). Once on the beach you are on your own, so be sure to take plenty of water. There are toilet facilities but no shower or changing facilities. A very lovely walk, especially in the early morning, is to follow the trails above Warwick Long Bay to the coves and onto Horseshoe Bay.

Astwood Park and Cove is a walk away from Langata Lower. Astwood Park is a lovely stretch of parkland with picnic tables benches, toilet facilities and parking. The cove is known to be one of the most beautiful beaches in Warwick parish. It’s a small and secluded beach surrounded by steep cliffs where the Long tails - White Tailed Tropical birds soar. There is a fairly steep winding trail that goes down to Astwood cove from the park above but the hike is well worth the reward you finally get. It's a perfectly romantic beach and ideal for couples.

The cove is known to be one of the most beautiful beaches in Warwick parish. It’s a small and secluded beach surrounded by steep cliffs where the Long tails - White Tailed Tropical birds soar. There is a fairly steep winding trail that goes down to Astwood cove from the park above but the hike is well worth the reward you finally get. It's a perfectly romantic beach and ideal for couples.

It starts at the eastern end of Warwick Long Bay and the western end of Horseshoe Bay Beach. The entire stretch is about 1.25 miles.

Jobsons Cove is a small, secluded beach surrounded by cliffs which completely separate this bay from the surf of the sea. The beach is a short walk or bike ride away from Langata Lower on the south shore, located adjacent to Warwick Long Bay.
It is a very popular beach for both locals and visitors, particularly for families with children as the waters are calm and sheltered. This picture-perfect beach with its calm waters and pale pink sands is a serene, relaxing hideaway perfect for a picnic. The beach was named after William Jobson who was an early settler of 17th century and owned this area.

Jobsons Cove is a small, secluded beach surrounded by cliffs which completely separate this bay from the surf of the sea. The beach is a short walk or bike ride away from Langata Lower on the south shore, located adjacent to Warwick Long Bay.

WindReach is a recreational and development facility located just along Spice Hill Road from Langata Lower. It is spread across an area of 3.7 acres which is fully accessible. Over the years, it has become a great place for all kids and families. It has playgrounds, nature trails, multi-purpose activity center, petting zoo, campground and picnic areas.
WindReach opened in October 1999, the facility also promotes various activities and training programs for disabled and those with special needs.
