My favourite beaches
At about 20 minutes from my the house in Noto you can find the Vendicari Natural Reserve. A beautiful park with a sandy and rocky beach and an ancient fishing related buildngs. The Vendicari Nature Reserve is a migrating ground for thousands of birds. Flamingos, herons, storks and cormorants are regulars during autumn.
The Reserve is stunning both in summer and winter. Bird watching, snorkeling in the rocky side of the beach, hiking or just have the best swim in the best water!
