Asheville has recently been dubbed "foodtopia" and has a ton of delicious options. Most menus feature creative farm-to-table cuisine and there are many styles to choose from: tapas, dim sum, sushi, tacos/tacos/tacos, ramen, Appalachian, Indian, Middle Eastern, and so much more. Desserts for days. 'Nough said. Try the hot sipping chocolates (my favorite is maple and smoked sea salt...extra salt!). They also have a case full of cakes, pies, tiramisu, creme brulee, ice cream, truffles, and so much more. There is sometimes a line out the door but don't let it deter you...it moves quickly and it's worth the wait!

Delicious dim sum downtown. I highly recommend allowing the server to guide your ordering and definitely do not miss the green beans and soup dumplings. Seriously. Don't miss them!

This underground tapas restaurant is a long-standing local's favorite that doesn't need the hype surrounding some of the newer restaurants in town (Curate, ahem, ahem). This is a great option if some of the more social media savvy spots are full. My favorite dish is the gnocchi!
