Places to EAT!
These are restaurants that we eat it somewhat on the regular. We are more of a cook in than eat out type of couple and often by seafood at Wild Ocean seafood market or Seafood Atlantic in the port, so some of these suggestions might be a little dated. Please let me know if I missed the mark on any of these suggestions. In general, all the options around here are good, you just need to find what works for you :).
We have tried to order the restaurants from top recommended (ones we frequent) to bottom (rarely eat at but worth trying). So the first suggestion is our top rated and the last is our lowest rated.
Formerly Izzy's, great bistro that has seen patrons include Elon Musk. Nothing over the top but nice atmosphere and good food at a good value $25-$35 per plate. Mainly German food. The lobster pot pie is my favorite.

Great burgers! Really, one of my favorite places around and go to for reasonably priced, good quality food. At least in my opinion, strongly recommend and it is close by.

This is our FAVORITE Mexican restaurant in the area. So it is the only one we recommend! Try the molcajete! Amazing!

As far as dinner food goes, this is as good as it gets! Top 25 yelp in the nation! We personally recommend the fried chicken Benedict. Head there early so you don’t have to wait.

Very similar to Bonefish Grill, really, a pretty good spot reasonably priced for what you get. However, I haven't been since the Cocoa Beach Publix was updated so may have gone up in price.

As mom and pop as it gets. The Punjab special for two is really the only way to go, incredible value in my opinion for homemade food that makes you feel good!

Best sushi in town, but a fan favorite. Good Currys and Thai dishes as well. I wish they were a little easier on the wallet (rolls start around $10), but it is really delicious. Take-out is more miss than hit in my experience.

Known for their exotic burgers (Kangaroo for example). I have never been blown away, but never a bad experience with a nice bar for cocktails and good beer selection.

Some great locally baked german breads, an incredible selection of high-quality soaps and did I mention freshly made Peanut Butter or Almond Butter.... An organic candy land :) If you shop hear wisely there are some great healthy options to be found.

This is not a local trip, but is one of the nicer springs in driving range. The springs are an amazing part of Florida, and if you have time to take a refreshing swim it is worth it.

Nothing local about this spot, but if you have some time to explore Florida, this is a wonderful "back to nature" spot in Orlando within about an hour drive. A true "lazy river" without all the chlorine. A gem of a spot you are sure to love if you appreciate nature.

Located in the port this "monument" was an interesting project taken on by the port. Great views of the area and some neat history lessons to be learned. Nothing here will blow your mind but it is something easy to visit and learn about the area and see the port.

I have not done this but think it is SUPER COOL. This land was originally inhabited by a people who were supposedly 7 ft tall due to their rich shellfish diet from the river. Saved from being turned into a gas station the business operator took advantage of this old oak hammock and created a business that takes advantage of the flora, love it.

6419 N Atlantic AveI have not done this but think it is SUPER COOL. This land was originally inhabited by a people who were supposedly 7 ft tall due to their rich shellfish diet from the river. Saved from being turned into a gas station the business operator took advantage of this old oak hammock and created a business that takes advantage of the flora, love it.
I could seriously walk around this place for hours..... So many toys!
