Favorite places
My family and I love living in Ucluelet and there really are too many wonderful places, restaurants, and little shops to mention all here. I've listed the top few we enjoy frequenting and will try to continue to add to this list throughout the spring. Enjoy your stay in Ukee:)
This beach has some steep stairs to get down to so access isn't the most convenient but it is worth the short trek. Less visited than the other beaches in Ucluelet and Tofino makes this place a bit of a gem. When the tide is out, it's a great place to explore for little sea life and shells among the rocks. My favorite part of the day is to wake up a little earlier, pop down to the beach and watch the sunrise. The colours coming up over the trees off to the left and above the ocean are a sight to see!

Florencia Bay

We like to do the lighthouse loop portion of the Wild Pacifc trail; a 2.6km trail with breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean. Lots of benches and lookout points along the way to sit and enjoy the scenery. A fantastic place to storm watch as well, right by the Lighthouse as the waves can get quite high and are quite dramatic crashing over the rocks. Also a great place to try and catch a glimpse of whales during the migration route.

Our go to place for lunch. The daily soup and sandwich is always fresh, and delicious. A great place to grab your lunch to go and continue on your daily adventures. The sugary treats are also yummy:)

Our favorite place in town to eat as a family and with friends. The menu is fantastic; we've sampled it all over the years and enjoyed it all. We do have our favorites, the pulled pork mac and cheese is delicious, and my husband enjoys the weekly specials like 1/2 a rack baby back ribs or the ribeye steak. Great atmosphere and an excellent selection of local beer and wine compliment a menu worth sampling.

1576B Imperial LnOur favorite place in town to eat as a family and with friends. The menu is fantastic; we've sampled it all over the years and enjoyed it all. We do have our favorites, the pulled pork mac and cheese is delicious, and my husband enjoys the weekly specials like 1/2 a rack baby back ribs or the ribeye steak. Great atmosphere and an excellent selection of local beer and wine compliment a menu worth sampling.
