The gorge hike from the top of the park is breath-taking! I love all three state parks within the 20-mile radius of Ithaca, but this is my favorite. A summer swim in the natural pool at the foot of a waterfall is an experience not to miss.

This lovely park is just outside Ithaca and is good for swimming in the summer and hiking most any time of the year when there isn't ice underfoot.

A 15 minute drive north along Cayuga Lake takes you to one of the 4 State Parks in the Ithaca area. Choose a trail that fits your challenge level and time frame, the views are inspiring, and the waterfall fantastic!

It's one of the most beautiful campuses in the country and you find plenty to do there! Don't miss the Johnson Art Museum and the view overlooking Cornell, Ithaca and Cayuga Lake.

Walk only a couple blocks around the corner for a great hands-on museum for children (and adults!) Can play miniature golf and learn about the solar system at the same time. Can spend hours in play and learning.
