Our absolute #1 place to go out in the area. It is kind of hidden away and they don't advertise much so not a lot of the tourists know about it yet. (Just opened up last year) Great food (suprisingly affordable) and stellar drinks (a little pricey). The main thing you're paying for though... the scene. I won't even try to explain it. Check it out for yourself!

1284 Marler AvenueOur absolute #1 place to go out in the area. It is kind of hidden away and they don't advertise much so not a lot of the tourists know about it yet. Drinks & Nightlife
Cool outdoor bar where you can have your feet in the sand and enjoy live local musicians almost every night. Locals tip: the beer selection here is minimal BUT right next door is TapWorks craft beer bar (30-50 beers on tap) or Tapas Winebar. All three are owned by the same people and you can bring drinks from any of them to the Sandbar. Really neat place if you're into live music and a drink!

Sightseeing
Our favorite beaches and they're really close-by! No need to drive to Destin to get white-sand Emerald Coast experience. These beaches are just as beautiful (arguable MORE beautiful) and not nearly as crowded. Our tip: head a little west of the pier... maybe 1/2 mile. This is where our favorite spot is.
We also recommend walking the pier. They charge $2 but we often get to look down and see dolphins and even giant sea turtles. We love it! Also you're nearly guaranteed to see several enormous herons!
