Mirabella is arguably one of the best Italian restaurants on the North Side. It's owned by a chef that worked for many years at Gene and Georghetti. I've loved every dish that I've tried. The portions are huge and the food is tasty. My favorite is the grilled calamari (with a glass of white wine). But they also have great steaks, pasta, other seafood, etc, all for 1/4 - 1/2 less than what you would pay at a restaurant in the loop.
