This is a cafe where a lot of the locals hang out the food is good value and not fussy and quite nice and the owner is quite a local character. She doesn't give any smiles away for free! But I like individuals and people who stamp their character on their business

Parks & Nature
I selected 'park' and 'hiking' trail rather than sightseeing because that is what I love about the undulating landscape around the Tor. You can walk there up country lanes and footpaths from the house. And you can make your route around it as long or as short as you like. Just ask me when you get here, I try to walk around the Tor every morning when I am at home.

The Abbey has beautiful grounds and ruins. A lovely place to while away an afternoon with a picnic. Also greta to find a quiet spot for meditation or exercise
