A walking track to the top of Mount Coolum offers stunning views of the coast. Around 20 minutes to the top if you're fit, a longer if you want to stop to take in the views. 15 min walk or 3 min drive.

A really lovely area with a number of options for picnic locations, a dip in the shallow stream or deep pools with falls you can jump off. Beautiful grassed areas under the trees are a lovely place to lie and soak up the sun and nature.

A lovely walk along the headland from Point Arkwright picnic area to Coolum. This walk takes in a variety of terrain, with beautiful ocean views most of the way. Approximately 2.5km, easy walking along dedicated and clearly marked tracks and paths. Not suitable for bikes.

Turn left out of our driveway and walk about 350m until you reach a park. You will see a boardwalk heading into the bushland which is one of the may access points to a circular track through this gorgeous native bush. The track passes through small areas of rainforest, paperbark stands, grass trees, and native bush. Local art in the form of carved reptiles will delight you along the way. You can do the full circuit and come out the same way, or follow the cul-de-sac road to Wagtail for a coffee and head to the beach.
