This is the best for deli style sandwiches in Stowe - not to mention fantastic baked goods. A Stowe classic - pop by on your way up or down from the ski hill.

The food is fantastic and the Trapp Family beers are delish, but the location is what makes it worth it! Have a flight to find your favorite - and theres plenty of souvenirs at their little shop on the way out of the building. FUN SPOT! Cruise by the Trapp Family Lodge just up the road after to see the most magical spot in Stowe where the Von Trapp family settled.

In Winter - walk the Notch as a nice leisurely hike with your dogs or solo. There are lots of trails, including the Long Trail that are accessed via the Notch Rd. Lots of spots to sit and take in nature or have a picnic. Head up to the top of the Notch in the Summer for a hike up to Sterling Pond - a gorgeous little lake at the top of Big Spruce Peak. GORGEOUS

Just a quick jaunt from the parking lot gets you to a 100+ foot waterfall. Its a pretty stroll along a river to the falls with some very obvious beaver pond work on the left. Lots of nature happening here!

Getting Around
There is a shuttle from the village up to the resort that travels the Mountain Rd. Just park your car at the apt and you dont even really need it.
