The City was founded first as a recreational spot for NYC residents in the late 1700's to a bustling port city through the 50's. It has a rich history of "first" from the birthplace of baseball to the zipper. Hostess cupcakes, Tootsie Roll and Lipton Tea was first made in Hoboken.

Hoboken has many great parks. However, Steven's Park is a block away from the waterfront, so the view of NYC are spectacular. The Church across the street, Sts Peter and Paul, was in the movie "On the Waterfront" with Marlon Brando.
