This is great place to walk and have a distance view of the mountains. The parking lot on the West side of 63rd is small and usually full. Drive a bit past the parking lot and make a right. There is a large parking lot there and you can take the crosswalk across 63rd to the lake. You can also link up the trail to the Boulder Reservoir for a longer walk/run.

Directions
Coloradans tend to give directions in NEWS vs. "make a right, then a left". The reason being is that we have the mountains as a perrmanent reference point and when in Boulder - the mountains are always West.
