Meandering hiking trail through the giant sequoia grove. Open late spring through fall (usually May - October). Trail is dog friendly, pack out all trash and pet waste. DRIVING DIRECTIONS FROM CABIN: Turn RIGHT on Pine Flat Drive. Continue 1 mile to Parker Pass (road going up the hill just after Smokey the Bear sign). Continue on Parker Pass for 12 miles to intersection at Western Divide Hwy. Turn LEFT on Western Divide Hwy. Continue 2.5 miles to Trail of 100 Giants. Park on right side of road. Easy to moderate hiking trails along the creek. DRIVING DIRECTIONS FROM THE CABIN (approx. 4 miles, 15 minute drive). Turn LEFT on Pine Flat Drive. Continue 1 mile, cross over cattle and drive up dirt fire road approximately 3 miles. Park at White River Campground on right. Campground is marked by sign.
Our natural water slide is the perfect way to cool off on a hot summer day. Slide down a mountain creek running over smooth granite rocks into a cool and refreshing pool. DRIVING DIRECTIONS FROM THE CABIN (approx. 26 miles, 40 minute drive). Turn RIGHT on Pine Flat Drive. Continue 1 mile to Parker Pass (road going up the hill just after Smokey the Bear sign). Continue on Parker Pass for 12 miles to intersection at Western Divide Hwy. Go through the intersection (do not turn right or left) and continue on Parker Pass for 7 miles, turn LEFT on Lloyd Meadow Road (Forest Route 22S82). Lloyd Meadow Road is not well marked. Continue for 5.7 miles to dirt parking area on right side of the road. Park here, cross street and walk up the dirt fire road approximately 1/2 mile. Creek and water slides will be on the right side of the fire road.

Sightseeing

Bring your own food, water, snacks, gear (bathing suits, fishing poles, camera, etc.) 2-HOUR RIDE is $55 per person and departs at 9 AM and 1 PM. Make your reservation at least 1 day in advance This is a good length of time for the "never-ever-been-on-a-horse" beginner, or if you haven't been riding for awhile. HALF-DAY RIDE is $75 per person (9 AM - 1 PM). FULL DAY RIDE is $110 per person (9 AM - 3 PM). Ride to the river for fishing, explore secluded swimming holes and natural water slides. Admire the George Bush tree at Freeman Grove. All rides include an experienced guide.
