Great beers and one of the best burgers in LA. Just don't ask for any changes to the burger, or ketchup. They won't do either - but don't worry, it is perfect as is.

Authentic pasta spot with owners that treat you like family. The line can be long, but the food is worth it, plus you don't get any more convenient than across the street.

Walking distance from the house. I go here almost every day walking through Helms Bakery go Right on Washington and it it on the next major block southwest corner. There is a lovely park, great food, ice cream, coffee and shopping. The landscaping is wonderful. I love this space with a great park like area to eat, play or walk the dog.

Curated market with great food and high prices. However, if you are on a specialty diet, you will find everything you need here.

Parks & Nature

We call this the Culver City Steps. You can take a bike from my house. This is one really intense work out, but you are left with a stunning view from ocean to downtown. I take the steps up and road down. I dare you to do it more than once.

Getting Around

A short walk from my house is the best way to get to the beach and downtown. The traffic is awful at the strangest times in LA, take the train. We also have bike paths (Venice, Washington, one follows the train line, and Ballona Creek will take you to Marina del Rey.
