Rockenwagner has something for everyone! The have amazing coffee. I like the Vanilla Latte (hot or cold) and you could spend months tasting all the delicious savory and sweet baked goods. My favorites are their chocolate croissants and their bacon and cheese pretzel bread. I enjoy my morning walks their for a warm breakfast or for their Muesli - which is a must try while you're here!

A taste of true Italian food less than 4 minutes away! Once I discovered this place, it ruined all other Italian food for me. This secret gem is hidden in plain site! Located on Lincoln Blvd and Washington, you could basically throw a rock from our house to it. But to be inside - you might as well be in Italy. SO GOOD! This small taco stand serves up three types of tacos on freshly made flour tortillas. Located at The Platform in Culver City. Great little spot for shopping. You can stop off at Blue Bottle for coffee after lunch or icecream next door!

Not just for vegans. This is a plant based restaurant, but I recommend it for everyone! The food is absolutely delicious and make sure to get a table in the back patio area - which is enchanting, relaxing and a great place to spend an afternoon lunch.

If you are looking to hang out in a beach city, Manhattan Beach is a great choice. Walking/shopping streets all along the pier - and a beautiful beach. 20-30 minute drive down the coast from our place depending on traffic.
