BEST VIEW OF MANHATTAN! Great view for full moon nights or sunny clear days. Try to catch sunset from this location. You can take gate 51 bus $1.50 to the post office and then walk about 15 min to get here.

Delicious and fun eats
It's overwhelming how many restaurants there are in NYC. I recommend planning ahead and not getting stuck in the tourist traps around Times Square which are high priced for low quality.
Hoboken is just down the cliff from my house - uber is fastest and easiest and should be about $5 - but you could walk during the day in about 45 min - you need to get down the cliff using the stairs at 7th St/Palisade or walking down Manhattan Drive /16th St. Its a lovely and safe town and from there you could catch the subway (the PATH) into Manhattan.

I like this place because there are about 5 options to choose from so it can be one stop but different types of food. Its also quite close to Port Authority which is where you begin and end each day. LUKE'S LOBSTER is my favorite vendor here. Get the Lobster Roll!! Fantastic and fresh. its small but perfect.

it's not top quality but its the best in this neighborhood. Wonton soup is $3 and lo mein small $4. its 99% take out but there are some tables there too. They deliver to my house for free.
