On the way to Bucksnort the scenery is absolutely amazing! It is kid friendly during the day. But mostly the drive to BS has many perks, GORGEOUS Parks, A great restaurant (Zokas check that out, Very Nice menu. I had my post wedding party there.) I actually got married in the park on the way up. within a 15-20 min drive from house.

Not only is Evergreen close to the house, It is one of my favorite places to just spend an afternoon. Great budget friendly restaurants, antiques, jewelry, little bear saloon has live music on the weekends. It is not uncommon to see large heards of Elk on the drive in, just hanging out in someones property, or on the golf course.
