Seaplane rides are fairly reasonable, and usually available during the summer months on a "catch-as-catch-can" basis. Call ahead to make sure a pilot is available to take you up (there are charters that take priority) and to quote you the current rates for a sightseeing flight. A good estimate is $60.00 for two people for a 15-minute (airtime) flight. Flights are dependent on the weather, and there is no reason to fly in inclement weather. But on a clear day with blue skies, absolutely nothing can compare to the experience! Located in beautiful Long Lake, a one hour away.
