Chiang Dao Nest 1 serves delicious Western food and is famous for its Cordon Blue menu. It is about a 20 minute walk from Chiang Dao Roundhouses. Or you can ask Maggi to arrange a taxi for you.

Spectacular limestone cave with stalactites and stalagmites and holy images of the Buddha. Part of the cave is lit up and easy to access. For the more adventurous, a guide will lead you by lantern through winding passageways and into hidden caverns in the labyrinth beneath Mount Chiang Dao. The car park of Chiang Dao Cave hosts a score of local restaurants that are only open during the day. Here you can taste dishes made by the women and men of our village. If you don't like it hot, point to the chillis on display and shake your head! Or ask for your food to be 'Mai pet'.

Climb up 500 steps through the jungle to reach this magical temple. Peaceful and quiet. A great place for bird watchers too.

30 kms down a little used scenic road route 1178 from Chiang Dao, will take you to two entrances to Pha Daeng National Park. The first one you come to is Pong Arng Hot Springs, natural mineral hot springs that you can soak in. Changing rooms and showers. The park entrance ticket will also take you to the next entrance, Pang Tong Waterfall. This is a spectacular waterfall made from limestone. Known as a 'sticky' waterfall, the rocks are easy to walk on and not at all slippery, making is easy to climb up to other levels. Changing rooms provided. Please note that these are not regular tourist places, and cater to local people. If you are wearing a bikini, please cover with a T-shirt .
