We highly recommend this place for breakfast burritos. We love the "special" green chili since it adds a great spice to the food. They also have a drive through which makes ordering that much easier if you want to go in your PJs!

Beautiful place to begin your day! So many friendly faces and nice people roaming the area and soaking up the sun and stunning views. The parking is in a dirt lot and isn't the biggest, but people were coming and going as you drove in. There are restrooms and water fountains for use as well. South Valley Park is for everyone. There are usually bikers, dog walkers, joggers, kids and hikers. This is a great spot for picnicking as there are several spots with tables. This place is quite big as you can walk/hike over the hill, the view will take your breathe away as there are miles of trails and views. There are loads of red sandstone spires in beautiful formations. Overall, South Valley Park is a great spot to start your morning and an even better place to watch the sunset or sunrise.

Enjoy Keystone, Breckenridge, Loveland, and Arapahoe Basin ski resorts. Each mountain has a lot to offer in the summer and winter. This is only an hour and 20 minutes from our AirBnb. We always recommend checking traffic as Loveland Pass can get dicey in the winter.

Renting a car for this area is the easiest way to get around

We recommend renting a car but if you are not renting a car: Use light rail (A Line) from DIA to Union Station. From there transfer to the light rail (B Line) to Westminster Station. That will drop you 5 minutes from the property. From there Uber/Lyft/Taxi to the property. Total time should take around 1-1.5 hrs from DIA to the property. The city bus picks up just east and west of the property. Uber and Lyft are always recommended budget friendly means of transportation.

Hikes/Sightseeing/Activites

Due to the winter weather that Colorado encounters some hikes may require winter weather clothing and hiking boots as snow tends to be on trails through the end of may and starts early October. Before you go on a hike please make sure the trail heads are open. As far as parks or sightseeing activities, we recommend you check if the place requires reservations/tickets. There may be timed entries as well so be prepared to plan your day accordingly.
