Many of our animals are rescue animals that now have forever homes. Check our website for times. An absolutely great experience. The ticket prices were a lot cheaper than movie theaters. They featured a double feature of Goonies and Family Vacation. You aren't going to get recent films they feature primarily classic movies. It is a massive lot and they allow you to pick anywhere to park. The first film starts at 8:40 which I thought was late but due to the longer summer days it gets dark pretty late. The food wasn't crazy expensive but in retrospect I wish I bought my own fast food in. I ordered 2 hot dogs, a cheese nacho and mozzarella sticks for roughly 18 dollars. I only stayed for one film and it was easy to drive out the lot to leave in between the double feature but you definitely have to be smart about where you park. The only miscues is the address is a bit tricky to find. Easy to miss the turn. Also the concession stand light reflects on the screen.

Roller Magic is a fun place to be, it's affordable and it's very clean, the place provides games as well as food to eat. as it's so important to mention that the owner and the staff are extremely very friendly and attending to your needs there safety is there number one priority to you and your kids on the floor. My son loved it and he wants to return but with his own skates so we're looking forward to next time.

It's a great place for local and beginners. I recommend it. I think it's a stretch to call any of the slopes black diamond but intermediate skiing. Having grown up going to Tahoe and skiing in CA, UT and Colorado it's a wonderful place to learn to ski and sneak away for a day. Agreed, on their covid protocols need to be improved though. Too many people, too close. In my opinion, all businesses like this should require a contact tracing form to be turned in when you pick up your ticket (fill it out at home). Too many "kids" running the place.

Mohawk is still a great family ski mountain. They make a ton of snow and unless it's right after a big, natural snowstorm (when some of the diamonds are allowed to develop and keep some mogul-y fun), trails are always perfectly, uniformly groomed. These are perfect conditions for beginners. It's often a bit icy -- but hey, it's the northeast! What REALLY keeps us coming back, though, are the top notch racing program + "development" programs for those too young to race. Coaches / instructors do a great job of assessing and improving form and technique. (Those "report cards" are remarkably nuanced!) As a result, this little mountain produces some fantastic junior racers, some of whom have gone on to the pros. Timber, the trail where the racers typically train, is well designed for the purpose. There are steep (but smoothly groomed) areas interspersed with more level areas where you can slow your roll. Younger kids usually do trails off of the Nutmeg, Mohawk, and Deer Run Triple (three person) lifts. COVID protocols have been pretty good. This year and last year, racers have remained outdoors except for brief warm-ups in the warming hut where needed. Right now, because community spread is high, the day has been adjusted to exclude lunch so skiers aren't indoors, unmasked, together. This year, the mountain finally climbed out of the Dark Ages and switched to an RFID lift pass system, which works very nicely.

With 3 locations in the Hudson Valley, they offer farm fresh produce, meat, seafood, deli, prepared foods, cheese, bakery, sweet shop, gourmet grocery, gift shop, garden center and nursery. Mount Beacon is beautiful but this hike is quite the challenge. It's rocky and steep for about an hour. You'll get to the first viewing area, which is very nice. If you want to continue on to the fire tower, most of the walk is level, which is a tease because the final stretch is a series of steep boulders to climb over. Most of the trail is shady and we had perfect weather. If you do this trail while it's wet, wear shoes with strong traction or you will probably sprain an ankle. It took almost an hour to descend.

This is a historical site. The view from Clermont’s front door is one of the most spectacular views of the Hudson River Valley from anywhere along the river. The history of the Clermont mansion is even more remarkable. The original Clermont mansion was built by Robert Livingston around 1740 on land inherited from his father Robert Livingston, the First Lord of Livingston Manor. The First Lord left 13,000 acres to his second son, Robert, splitting them off from the rest of his 160,000 acre estate upon his death in 1728. In October of 1777 the Revolutionary War arrived at Clermont’s doorstep when a small force of British soldiers arrived, having been dispatched from New York City to offer whatever aid they could to the British army commanded by General John Burgoyne that had recently been defeated at the Battles of Saratoga. The British quickly burned Clermont and twenty four other buildings belonging to the Livingston’s to punish them for their support of the rebels. Margaret Beekman Livingston, the mistress of the house, escaped with her daughters and youngest son to a relative’s house in Connecticut before the burning. She soon returned to the property and through sheer force of will, and a constant stream of letters to New York’s governor, she was able to secure militia exemptions for enough men to rebuild the house. The most famous member of the Livingston family was Chancellor Robert R. Livingston, Margaret’s son. So called because he was New York’s first chancellor, the highest judge in the state under the original state constitution, The Chancellor was an active patriot during the war. He served on the Committee of Five to draft the Declaration of Independence, drafted the New York Constitution and served as the country’s first Secretary for Foreign Affairs. After the war he had the distinct honor of giving the presidential oath of office to George Washington in 1789. The Chancellor was also the lead negotiator of the Louisiana Purchase and the co-inventor of the first commercially viable steam boat. Clermont passed through four more generations of Livingston’s before being turned over to New York State in 1962 for use as a historic site. Every generation left an indelible mark on the house and grounds while helping to preserve the rich history held within the bounds of the estate. The current site encompasses not only the mansion, rebuilt by Margaret Beekman Livingston and added onto by later generations, but over 500 acres of landscaped gardens, meadow and woodlands, preserved for the enjoyment of future generations.

Very fun and secluded hangout spot with a rope swing. The trail to get to the rope swing is hard to find and definitely don't go bare foot because there is a lot of broken glass. Not a good place to bring your family. There is no parking so you are going to have to walk along the road to get to it.
