Restaurant in the middle of Petrin hill. Beautiful view. Good food and beer. Goes best with a visit of the viewing tower on the top of the hill. Funicular for lazy guys or in bad weather :-)

A little brewery just next to the Strahov Monastery. Good beer. It's also a restaurant with quite nice food but not very special view (i recommend Petrinske Terasy for eating up the hill).

Typical european brands, good selection and prices. For a clothes/shoes hunt I recommend to start down at Wenceslas Square, go through Na Prikope and end in Palladium mall (listed in my Guidebook) :-)

Parks & Nature
In summer, eat at restaurant "Petřínské terasy", it has a terrace with awesome view and the food is great. In spring, visit the cherry blossom orchard. The left side of the park (behind the wall - the Kinski garden) is more quiet and equally beautiful.
