The award-winning Atlanta History Center is in fact located in the heart of Buckhead itself. The Museum is one of Atlanta’s best, and its several attractions (including the Swan House, the Margaret Mitchell House, and the Smith Family Farm) date from 80 to 150 years old. The museum offers all-inclusive ticket packages for tours to these sites, and the museum has been steadily growing itself since 1926. Before long, the Atlanta History Center will absorb a Civil War exhibit that is moving from its former headquarters in downtown Atlanta.

The greenspace boasts trails that wind past outdoor art installations and is adjacent to Freedom Park.
