This is a proper sit-down air-con restaurant that serves one of the best food. May be slightly a bit pricey as compared to the coffee shops around this area but it is really worth a try.

Review from one of the guests at Trip Advisor, quote: "This is a lovely, quaint cafe that's just a street away from the much-adored Concubine Lane. With its high ceiling and rustic home-like ambiance, walking into 22 Hale Street feels like walking into a towkay's (rich man) house. As I visited the place after lunch, I had only desserts and drinks there which were tasty and refreshing!"

Review from Trip Advisor: This museum is a gem, full of history about the Hakka tin miners in Perak and filled with a good collection of old relics. The guides are very informative and gave a very interesting recount of the days gone by. They also showcase some artistic murals painted by students from the local art institute. This museum is a must visit place for all visitors to Ipoh.
