Kalahari is the best place to visit when you want to have fun in the water year round, aside from the water park they also have a ropes course. We recommend buying tickets online to make sure you are able to get in during your visit.

There is a beach-like lake (Tobyhanna Lake), Tobyhanna Creek, and campgrounds available with electric connections for RVs. This is a great place for picnicking, hiking, camping, fishing, swimming, and boating.

Shawnee is our top place for snowboarding, it is family friendly but still perfect for experiencing with friends. There are plenty of trails for skiers and snowboarders of all levels and there is also a designated area for snow tubing. While they have a cafeteria at their lodge, we recommend visiting an outside place to eat as their menu can be limited and it can get pretty crowded.
