11 min drive on twisty roads near scenic Lake Lanier. Nice place to have a picnic or grill out overlooking the lake. Open 8 am to 10 pm. You can park there and take a hike across the street down to the Buford Dam Trail. Dogs are not allowed on the buford dam trail but during off season there is no one there and I take mine!
