Kohtuotsa offers sweeping panoramas of Old Town's rooftops and towers against the backdrop of the modern city skyline. The spacious area on the east corner of Toompea hill offers unforgettable views of the medieval neighbourhood and is easily the city's most famous photo spot. From here you can see most of Tallinn's centuries-old spires as well as its newer ones.

A trip to Tallinn isn’t a trip to Tallinn without a visit to the northern Baroque palace. In its current role as the Kadriorg Art Museum, it displays hundreds of 16th- to 20th-century paintings by Western and Russian artists, as well as prints, sculptures and other works. Outside of the building there is a colourfully beautiful garden!

With its total height of 314 metres (1,030 feet), the 1980s-era TV Tower is Estonia’s tallest building and entertainment centre, boasting not only great views but also fascinating exhibitions and interactive attractions. Special windows in the floor let the not-so-faint-hearted stare into the 170-metre emptiness below the viewing deck. For an additional fee, you can also walk on the edge of the viewing platform (from April to October). There is also a restaurant in the tower!

Use public transport or have a nice walk!
Use public transport to save your money or prefer walking! As my apartment is situated in the heart of the city, almost all must-vist places are in about 5-15 minutes walk away. So there is no need to use taxi! However, if you'd like to use a taxi, do not use Tallink or Tulika taxi company, as these are the premium taxies here in Tallinn and therefore more expensive ones. Use mobile app Uber or Bolt to order a taxi.

Estonian weather is like a roller coaster!
One day there will be 25 degrees and sun warmly shines - so you need shorts, flip flops and bottle of water to enjoy your time! Next moment there will be heavy rain and cold wind - so you need to put on trousers, jacket and take an umbrella with you! Be ready for this crazy roller coaster!
