- The Living Room is a viewpoint that overlooks downtown Salt Lake City. Someone has taken flat rocks and built Flintstone-style furniture so that you can relax and enjoy the view of the city. The trail starts near Red Butte Gardens. - The trail is steep and rocky. It climbs over 1000 feet in less than a mile and a half (1.35 miles to the Living Room, or 2.7 miles round trip).

We love to go to City Creek to shop, eat, and just wander around because it is SO NICE. They have all kinds of serene indoor and outdoor water features and landscaping and the overall architecture of City Creek itself makes it a worthwhile visit!

Food scene
We LOVE Spitz! It is Mediterranean street food. It's in a fun, downtown location, has an upbeat atmosphere and the food is to die for. We recommend the street cart fries and any of the doners.

This restaurant is on the fancy (aka more expensive) side, but the experience of dining there is worth it! It is on the top floor of the Jospeh Smith Memorial Building and boasts beautiful city views while you dine. It is buffet style dining. It was here where I discovered my all time favorite dessert - chocolate decadence!
