The Skylight Pond Trail head is on the Steam Mill Rd. in Ripton. The trail takes about an hour to climb up. There is a small overlook off of the intersection of the Long Trail, or you can end at the overnight shelter that is near the pond. This is a very woodsy trail, but it is pretty and quiet.
