“Wilson's Prom is the southernmost tip of mainland Australia. Walk remote coastal bushland trails and swim at pristine beaches dominated by granite boulders. Camp in comfort at family-friendly Tidal River or hike to a more secluded campsite.”

“A interesting sand dune formation just down the road. Turn right when you get to the entrance to Wilson Prom entrance gates. It's about a 2 km walk to these impressive sand dunes. ”

“This is a relaxing walk with plenty of birds around. The walk starts at the parking lot next to the Yanakie caravan park. If you start with the beach part first, make sure to keep an eye out for the little track that leads you trough the shrubs back to the parking lot. We came across a few other "tourists" who were looking for the track back and we all had passed it without noticing it as there are no signs. I would recommend to go trough the shrubs first, looks like a tunnel at the entrance of the car park and when reaching the beach turn right and you can't go wrong. There were quite a few flies around, so apply some aeroguard or bushmans. But nice and easy going walk with great views. Best at low tide.”
