“A friend just recommended this place as a cute, historic downtown Harrisonburg spot with 'reasonable prices, good food!' We will get here soon as...we love bakeries!”

“Sichuan Gourmet has a huge menu--the first 60% is the "authentic Chinese" section, and the second 40% is the "American Chinese" food you'd expect. Take a chance, and order from the first part, to see what you've been missing! (I recommend the Kong Pao Chicken in Chengdu style.)”

“Locations in both SouthSide downtown and in Mars PA up north. This is the best place to go when vegetarians and meat eaters need to agree on somewhere to go. Very cool atmosphere and prices are good too”

“Just down the road towards Harper's Ferry, this winery is on a beautiful sprawling property and is co-located with the Grandale Vintner's Table, an amazing place for fine dining - not to mention their incredible Sunday brunch. ”

“I'm a bit biased on this one, but Harpers Ferry is a total gem! Something for all: Nature, Views, Hiking, History, it's all here. Check out www.nps.gov/hafe for more details on events etc. An easy 30 min drive away, direct route on 340. The Maryland Heights hike is a local favorite. My personal favorite hike is Loudoun Heights. The Appalachian Trail Conservancy (Visitor Center, Mid-Point of the trail) is also a great destination. ”

“"Charming" doesn't begin to describe the vibe of this coffee shop that was converted from a farmhouse. Plenty of spaces to relax, work, and/or socialize, including an inviting outdoor space. Oh, and there's great coffee, too. :)”

“Go Herd! You may have a child attending college there or an alum wanting to see a game. Marshall is about a 15-minute drive. ”

“It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood... and on our outdoor porch! After a long winter that turned into a chilly spring, the sun is finally shining and we can hear the birds chirping. What better way to celebrate the return of warmer weather than by enjoying a relaxing meal on our outdoor porch! From hand-crafted cocktails to our selection of seasonal specials, we have that something special to help kick off al fresco dining season. ”

“The Raven Rocks hike will take you through what is commonly known on the Appalachian Trail as the "Roller Coaster". Rolling up and down the hills of the Blueridge this section of the Appalachian has some of the most challenging and beautiful areas of the entire trail.”
