“The Bowling Green Inn is said to be the oldest pub in Wells with records of landlords going back to the 1673 although it is thought to have existed even before that. Open throughout the year, The Bowling Green Inn offers traditional home cooked cuisine in a relaxed and comfortable pub setting. They serve a delightful selection of local ales and wines from around the world. As well, they also have a secluded beer garden, perfect for sunny days!”

“Spend some time sitting on the quayside watching the fishing boats unload and sailing boats go by. Its just a few steps from the cottage. Best early morning ! If you have children then crab fish from the quay with a line and a piece of bacon tied to it.”

“The best Beach in North Norfolk, the walk to the beach from the Harbour is one that me and my family have enjoyed several times. At the end of this walk you have the option of a tree lined woodland walk that runs parallel to the beach or the most gorgeous sandy Beach. The Beach or the woodland walks are not greatly accessible by a wheelchair user, however you can do some of the woodland walk using a wheelchair. There is an amazing café at the end of the Harbour-Beach walk that does good coffee.”
