“The first time I went to Bryce Canyon was a jaw dropping experience. I had been to the Grand Canyon, so what could be better than that...my opinion is that Bryce beats the Grand Canyon on several areas, and that isn't to take anything away from the majesty and awe inspiring vistas of the Grand. The shear beauty and color of Bryce is better. The colors are richer, and the accessibility is much better. There is a hiking loop in Bryce that I took my 5 year old down and up again without it being traumatic - we've had some of those. The number of people to bump up against is much less. Depending on the time of year, sometimes there are so few people that we have felt like we own the place. Just before you enter the park, there is a place called Ruby's Inn. There is cross country skiing that takes up and on the rim of the canyon, ice skating and dining that makes you feel like you have come home. Bryce Canyon is a must see!”

“Lots of paths to walk, multiple playgrounds, and huge hills to roll down, sled down, or ice-block down. Insider tip - go throw pebbles at the big brown water tank on the eastern side of the park. Its surprisingly satisfying.”

“I love walking around this man made lake! It's a great spot to see the sun rise and set. There are plenty of trails to walk, stroll or ride a bike. Their are also several areas to let the kids run around or hop on a swing. Some people go out their for picnics as well. You can find little shops for eating and gifts off some of the trails as well. ”

“This is a medium trial, it is the trial my work center uses for outings together during the summer. It has a water fall at the end that makes the hike well worth your time. The intial portion is steep and sandy, after word the forest is very calm and peaceful.”
