Escape the crowds and ride by utv to private Slot Canyons
Escape the crowds for an afternoon and come join us (ROAM Outdoor Adventure co) as we provide private access to various slot canyons on the east side of Zion via a beautiful UTV drive. Unlike our other airbnb experience, this one does not include any rappelling/canyoneering but instead, we will only hike and explore some amazing slot canyons. Have your camera's ready because these canyons are beautiful beyond measure! Other tour companies shuttle you in vans like cattle...We drive you in off road vehicles! Which means we go places that they can't and we have a lot more fun getting there :-) This experience coincides perfectly as pit stop between Bryce and Zion. We provide all the necessary equipment required for a safe and enjoyable experience! Schedule your group for an experience and let us help you decide exactly what you want to include in this remarkable adventure. Our guests have loved having this option available when staying at my Tiny Homes and Treehouses. We are licensed, insured and highly trained to take you on an experience of a lifetime! (For Airbnb Insurance purposes, we must do the driving)
Canyoneer through an incredible private Slot Canyon
First you’ll buckle up—we’ll pick you up in a UTV and start the adventure well before you canyoneer through the canyons. Then you’ll buckle in—once we arrive on the east side of Zion, you’ll learn how to safely rappel these secret slots with a licensed team of guides there to hold your rope (and your hand). With private access to the slots, you’ll get to hike, canyoneer, and rappel the world in between. Bring your camera so you can capture all your Indiana Jones-style adventure. Our group sizes remain small unless you book one large group altogether:-) Other things to note Bring your camera, hiking clothes and boots, snacks, and water, and we will take care of the rest! Water may be present in the slot canyons. If your group size is greater than 10, please message me.
Horseback Ride in Hobble Creek Canyon
You'll come to my ranch in Hobble Creek Canyon where I will introduce you to the horse you'll be riding. I will explain the equipment we use, help you get the saddle fitted to your needs, and demonstrate how to ride the horse and use the equipment. After a short lesson in a confined area, we will venture out onto the trails on the ranch. I will tailor the ride to your experience and comfort level; from a calm ride with me leading your horse through the meadow, to an adventurous mountain trail ride. The ride will take place entirely on private property in an area of exclusive and beautiful estate ranches. The experience, including orientation, lesson, and ride, will last one hour. Additional ride time is available for an additional fee. Participants will be required to sign a release acknowledging the inherent risks of equine activities consistent with Utah Code Annotated Section 78B-4-201 et seq. Other things to note Dress for the weather. We reserve the right to cancel if the weather presents a danger. Otherwise, we ride! No cell reception in the canyon. Must sign a release acknowledging inherent risks of equine activities as per Utah Code Sec. 78B-4-201 et seq. Weight limits apply. See rider requirements for details.
Great Salt Lake Flying Tour
On this unique, adventurous experience you will get a a birds eye view of The Great Salt Lake that puts into perspective the scale and beauty of this top Utah attraction. What would take a full day to see by car, we will squeeze into an action packed 40 minute flight. The GSL is an iconic landmark and you will see views that have been constantly evolving since it’s creation during the Bonneville flood over 14,500 years ago! One of the benefits of visiting the lake by air is we have no negative ecological impact. The sensitive eco-system is able to grow and evolve as if we were never there. You will see many of the animals that call the Great Salt Lake home such as antelope, buffalo, deer, coyote, and even eagles. Upon meeting at the airport I will escort you to our trusty steed, a vintage Cessna Bush-plane straight out of Alaska. The airplane we will be using is one of the greatest tools for exploring the local area and you are guaranteed a flight you will never forget. After a quick safety briefing we will get in the plane, buckle up, and begin our adventure. Half of the flight will be up high with expansive views, and the other half will be "low and slow" where you will feel like we are in a flying car. With four seats there is room for the pilot and three passengers each flight.
Sip, Snack, Stroll Salt Lake City
Walk downtown Salt Lake stopping at the best coffee shops, cafes and local hotspots for the best downtown has to offer. Have a fun Instagram worthy day of light refreshments, drinks and local culture along with tons of tips and suggestions for the rest of your trip. We will also use the local trax train to help you learn how to navigate the city using public transportation. In total we will spend about 3 to 4 hours together visiting some of the most well-known sites in the city such as Temple Square, Gallivan Plaza (one of the sites of the 2002 Olympic games) and Library Square as well as some local favorites such as the Pie Hole, and Ken Sanders Rare Books. Stopping at coffee shops, cafes, and locations based on your interests and food preferences. The best part about traveling with a local is that I can adjust to help create the best experience for the group.

Horseback Riding in East Zion
This tour combines two of Southern Utah's most popular activities: exploring scenic slot canyons and horseback riding. First we will climb into the saddle at the stables and conduct a brief riding lesson for the inexperienced riders. No need to worry if you are a beginner, we have years of experience and reserve the best trained horses for our guests. Our ride will take us to the mouth of a beautiful slot canyon where we will dismount and walk a short distance into the canyon. This incredible sandstone formation is very narrow with walls towering several hundred feet high on either side. East Zion is the home to world class slot canyons that can be found nowhere else! Following this stop, riders will again get in the saddle and ride back to the starting point. You will be led by a local guide with years of horse riding experience that will also share the rich cowboy history of small town Orderville that continues to live on today. We hope all of our guests are able to have an experience that is long lasting and impactful. We believe this is achieved when we can connect with guests in Entertaining, Educational, and Emotional ways. This is a great activity that is one of our most popular among guests. Don't miss your chance to horseback ride in East Zion! Saddle Up!
Utv Tour in Southern Utah near Zion
Guests will join us on an amazing off-road experience filled with authentic adrenaline! We will explore Sand Hollow, an area of 55,000 acres of trails, rock crawling, and dunes in Southern Utah! We will be visiting numerous tourist attractions not otherwise accessible to the normal traveler, including the Top of the World, the Flintstone House, and the Sand Dunes! **To drive a machine, you must book at least two people and be 18 years old. If you plan to drive, a credit or debit card will be authorized for $1,500 per machine to cover any possible damages to the machine upon your arrival.

Skiing/Snowboarding with a True Local Coach/Guide
We will spend the day skiing and/or riding around the mountain of your choosing. I will evaluate your ability level(s) and we will ski in areas that are safe for everyone. I will help everyone with their technique so that we can explore additional areas of the mountain as well. Many places we will go to would be difficult to impossible for others to find. We can take breaks if necessary for snacks, hot drinks, or adult beverages. We can also go on hikes into the back/side country to find powder stashes if desired. If we ski together multiple days we can go to different mountains if you like. Also if the backcountry or snowmobiling sound interesting i could arrange a day of that as well.

Professional Stargazing Tour
Stargazing Zion is pleased to host you, family, and friends for an entertaining evening of stargazing and astronomy in a field adjacent to the newly dedicated International Dark Sky Park, Zion National Park. Starting with a brief 10-minute walk to our dark sky location, our guides will then familiarize you with the night sky as astronomical twilight begins to set. Each guest lounges in their own zero gravity pod. These pods conform to your body, eliminating pressure points to make it comfortable and easy to view the star-filled sky. Each guest also has a pair of Celestron Outland X Binoculars to view the sky from their pod. Our astronomy guides will present a 120-minute program that includes state-of-the-art telescopes and laser pointers to guide you around the constellations and objects of the night sky. We also provide guests an up-close view of celestial objects (galaxies, nebulae, clusters) through our powerful telescopes. These telescopes are operated with a keypad and are as easy to use as sending a text. Telescopes are pre-programmed with our object list for the night. Pressing one button on the keypad moves the telescope to the next object.

Intro to hand stone carving keepsakes
First we decide on what you want to carve. For beginners simple shapes such as hearts, arrowheads , dinosaur teeth , shark teeth elephants dogs cats simple shapes with initials are great for first time carvers. Once we know what we’re carving we pick out a stone that best fits the shape the participant is after creating. Then either I or the participant will draw on the Stone outlining the design. We then clamp the stone securely in my custom made carving station. I then give a few beginning instructions and let the participant loose on the stone with my steel stone files. Instructions are given until we achieve the discussed Idea. After we have achieved the rought out shape we dive into polishing. Starting at a rough 120-180 grit wet sand paper we make the last finishing touches on your creation. Then we use 400 grit and your stone suddenly turns into a smooth glass like surface. At this point you can continue on polishing once you know what you have to do or if time is still available in the lesson. You may creat another stone creation. You can continue the polishing at home as I give small squares of 600-1000 grit sandpaper. Last option available is wire wrapping your creation to make a wearable necklace. This description is based on a one on one or small group carving session. In large groups 10-30 stone designs are determined on group prices. Other things to note Even if you think you do not have an artistic bone in your body you CAN carve stone. A sawing like back-and-forth motion is all you need to be able to carve stone. I have the expertise and knowledge to guide you step-by-step in creating what your keepsake.
