Our home is a beautifully renovated Victorian terrace house which easily sleeps 5 adults plus kids. Only 10 minutes from Sydney CBD, Darling Harbour, Circular Quay & all its attractions. 10 minutes from Sydney’s Kingsford Smith Airport Only minutes from Creative Hubs Precinct 75, Newtown & Marrickville and their countless pubs/bars/cafes. 20 minutes from tourist attractions such as Bondi & Coogee. Located at the end of the street is Sydenham Train Station, one of Sydneys main train stations
*HOUSE FEATURES* The perfect setting for a business trip, family vacation, long or short visit.... Our Oasis by the City is a double brick 1880s single story terrace house which was recently renovated to restore its original beauty with added modern comforts. In the first bedroom we have a gorgeous double bed with under bed storage, built in wardrobes and a beautifully restored marble fireplace. Along with the wardrobes there is also a beautiful set of drawers for you to store all your clothes and items in. Our second bedroom is where your kids will fall in love, we have a very funky, custom built bright pink single bed and an even funkier custom built bright purple kids cot. Also under the single bed you will find a pull out full sized single trundle bed. We also have beautiful vintage bassinet and portable cot which are both available on request. The kids will easily spend hours playing in this room with a huge array of toys, puzzles, boardgames, books ect. However please note that this room can easily accommodate 2 adults who can sleep on the 2 x full sized single beds. The bathroom has a large freestanding bathtub with separate walk in shower. All hot water in the house is temperature controlled via an electronic keypad, so you can set the hot water to your liking. The bathroom has a huge electronic skylight and underfloor heating to keep you nice and warm all year round! In the loungeroom there is a 4 seat sofa which converts into a queen sized sofabed. Along with a state of the art 55” Samsung Smart TV with all the apps you require! There is a split cycle air conditioning unit for both heating and cooling should you need it. The kitchen is fully equipped with European appliances including oven, gas cooktop and dishwasher. All of the kitchen is topped off with stone benchtops. In the kitchen area you will also find a double door fridge with a built in filtered and chilled water/ice maker. Out onto the huge deck (this is where the magic happens) you'll find bifold doors that open out into the large sun-drenched grassy backyard. On the deck you’ll will find a built in laundry with top of the range washer and condenser dryer, a Dyson Vacuum and a huge 65” Samsung Smart TV. Our backyard with it’s edible garden and car spot is a rare commodity in Sydney’s Inner West. You’ll enjoy lounging on the deck, watching the sun set behind the warehouse pitched roofs while picking blueberries, raspberries, passionfruit and mint from the garden (perfect for making cocktails) whilst you watch the planes fly overhead. Only 50 metres from our rear roller door is Sydenham Green Parklands. This area is an incredible open space so close to the city and it caters to all ages. It includes a BRAND NEW Skate Park, BRAND NEW Full Sized Basketball Courts, A kids playground, Swings, An outdoor GYM, fully equipped BBQ areas, a fully fenced off leash dog park and huge open green spaces. Welcome to the always pumping and creative Inner West of Sydney!!! *WE PROVIDE* Tea, coffee, fresh fruit, fresh bread, spreads and milk is on us! We also have free WiFi internet accessible from anywhere in the house and over 2000 movies and TV shows for you to enjoy via PLEX Media Server which are accessible via our Samsung Smart TVs. PLEASE NOTE: That this is a No-Smoking house. If you choose to smoke please ensure it is outside on the grassed area. Our house is located in Sydenham, New South Wales, Australia. Sydenham is located right in the middle of Sydney's bustling and vibrant Inner West! The house is located only 7 km from Sydney's CBD. Newtown's pumping pubs/bars are only a 15 minute walk or a 5 minute train/bus ride away. Marrickville's booming Cafe and Coffee scene is only a short 10 minute walk while Bondi is an easy a 15 minute direct train ride away. Feel like enjoying a weekend market? Addison Rd markets are every Sunday or Precinct 75 markets are on the 3rd Sunday of each month both of which are minutes away! Once you exit our house from the rear you will enter into Sydenham Green Parklands. This area includes a brand new skate park, 2 basketball courts, an outdoor gym set and a huge shaded kids playground. Also in the park are several BBQ facilities, toilets and a dog park for your furry friend. An easy 3 minute walk from our house and you will find yourself at Sydenham Train Station. This train station is only 2 stops from central and is a main station to anywhere you want to go in Sydney. Its also an easy 10 minute train from the Airport. A few minutes walk from our house and you will find several bus stops which can take you all over Sydney. On top of being perfectly located for any trip via public transport you also have the easy walking options of going to Newtown, Sydney Park. Marrickville, Alexandria and its surrounding suburbs. Due to its central location there are always several ride sharing options (Uber, Lyft etc..) only minutes away from our doorstep.

My home is conveniently located close to Sydney Airport. Travelling to/from Sydney Airport is only 5mins by car/taxi/Uber and 16mins by bus. Sydney CBD is also close and is approx a 15min drive or 30min by public transport. The train station is within walking distance. Six rooms in total. In the house are four rooms & one full size bathroom with seperate bath and shower. A full size kitchen is open to all guests. Two rooms are located in a granny flat with its own bathroom and kitchenette
This small single room consists of a single bed only wall to wall a shelf for items and lamp with extra plug for your phone/computer. It is suitable for one person only. Best suited for a quick layover in Sydney, unexpected flight delays or a student looking for a cheap room. The large kitchen and dining area is for all guests to use and there is also a lounge area with TV for guests use. Free on street parking is available. Willoughby is a leafy, friendly inner city neighbourhood on the more affluent side of Sydney's Lower North shore, It is close to transportation and shops. Plenty of cafes and restaurants within a 10-min walk from the house, 10 min drive from city.

  • Þvílíkt fallegt nútímalegt heimili. Margie og Wayne voru æðislegir gestgjafar! Herbergið okkar var mjög notalegt. Þeir voru með berjum og jógúrt í morgunmat og buðu mér líka kaffi. Svo hugsi og hjálpsamur! Við gistum þar eftir að hafa verið í skemmtisiglingu í 18 daga og við gátum stundað þvott en Margie kláraði það fyrir okkur og lét allt saman brjóta saman. Þeir fóru umfram það. Ef við komum aftur myndi ég vera hér aftur í hjartslætti! Gaf okkur líka muffins og kaffi til að fara áður en flogið var út!

Ókeypis morgunmaturinn var fallegt og heilbrigt snerting. Húsið sjálft er á frábærum stað, fannst mjög öruggt og surbuban með nokkrum verslunum og veitingastöðum / krám / kaffihúsum 10/15 mín. Göngufjarlægð. Sydney CBD er 10/15 mínútna rútuferð í burtu. Frábær dvöl!

    The Studio is a self contained space at the rear of my terrace house. Secure, peaceful and private. The Studio has its own private entrance off a wonderful park. Close to some of Sydney's best cafes, bars and restaurants. Guest will have their own ensuite (bathroom) with a simple yet functional kitchenette. Including a washing machine, bar fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle. Guests will have access to a private sunny courtyard shared by the owner of the house adjacent, surrounded by wonderful trees. I live and work from home. I can interact with you as much or as little as you desire. My home office space is well away from The Studio to maintain privacy for your stay. I have a small dog who is super cute, he will welcome you wholeheartedly. He is not in the yard however, so there is no issue when you come and go to the studio. He is isolated from the courtyard incase you're not a 'dog person'. The area of Redfern we are located in is on the border of Surry Hills. A mere 5 minutes walk to Bourke Street Bakery, Gelato Messina and many other local iconic establishments. Redfern is an interesting inner city suburb, with varying elements of urbanity. We are in a fantastic Balmain location in a quiet little street, just 2 minutes walk from famous Darling St. Very close to Harbour Ferries & city bus stops. Non smoking. Street parking is readily available using a temporary Visitors Parking Permit. No noise at all after 10pm due to close neighbours and local laws.
    Beautiful, private room with newly renovated bathroom and off street parking available. Separate street access ensuring full autonomy for guests without interacting with the Hosts. No kitchen, however a Bar fridge, Nespresso Machine, Toaster and Kettle are included. 2 complimentary beers are in the fridge for your arrival. No on site Car Parking is offered. We have street parking out the front of our house in what is a very quiet, safe street. The bed size is a standard double size. The room does not have air conditioning, but ample heating and a good fan are provided. Please note ! No noise is allowed outside the room after 10pm due to local laws. The neighbours are right beside us.

    The house is older style and rambling. Very spacious with separate dining, lounge, bathroom, toilet and laundry. The room is small and comfortable with nice light.
    My place is an old, unrenovated house in an exclusive suburb. The furniture is old, collected from household clean up, and I don't use chemicals in the house. The room is budget priced for the location. Its like a share house. I clean the rooms after each guest and I clean the house once a week. I like guests who can take care of themselves, who are unfussy. I have been renting my house for 12 years. It is full of character - with a mix of renovated and un-renovated bits. The front rooms have floorboards - some which have been re-polished after removing old carpets in the bedrooms, high ceilings some ornate. The paint is old. In the kitchen the cabinetry and tiles are new but old lino. The ceiling needs repair. The bathroom shower and floor has been re-tiled but we still have the old large iron bath-tub. The front of the house has tall decorative ceilings. The back part of the house was extended some time in the 70's so is of that era (except the new bits in the kitchen). The garden is in various stages of growth - it depends on how much I've been working and where in the cycle of vegie growth you stay - seedlings to seeding...... or how much rain we've had. I don't use poisons or sprays so expect a little wildlife - bees, butterflies, moths, wasps, beetles all pollinate my fruiting veggies, grass hoppers, crickets, spiders (they eat the mosquitoes), garden worms, small lizards. The birds visit for the insects, worms, hibiscus and camellias - kookaburras, magpies, indian minors and wattle birds visit daily. The possums like the backyard because we have some trees and some tasty treats in the compost and you may hear them in the garden at night. We do not have screens on the windows and sometimes insects find their way into the house. There is nothing dangerous, but if you are scared of insects or the occasional spider, this house is not for you. Sometimes the tiny lizzards, ubiquitos to any Australian garden, makes its way into the house. I have had baby possums in my room just this season. I put him back into the ceiling, the next day he arrived at my window to say 'thankyou' and then jumped away into the bushes.

    The house is a large Victorian terrace with living spaces on the ground floor, which leads out to a sunny, north facing back garden and an external laundry, all fully accessible to guests. The kitchen area includes a dining table, lounge sofa, TV and air conditioning. The guest bedroom includes a comfortable queen size bed with quality bedding, hanging rail, luggage rack, writing table, arm chair, and a heater for use during the winter months. The bathroom is adjacent to the bedroom with a large shower, unlimited hot water, and you will generally get exclusive use of the bathroom.

    The room is fairly small but clean and in an amazing location. If booking for two people, it's best for people who intend to use the room for sleeping and like to spend most of their time relaxing in the common area (living room and kitchen), which is the best part of the house. (Usually other guests are out and about so usually you'd have the downstairs to yourself) If you're the type of person who likes to spend most of your time in your room with the door closed, it will suit one person but may feel cramped for two people. The beds are raised 75cm above the floor for a additional space for luggage storage. There's also a wardrobe and chair in the room.

Make use of the inclusive Stadium Gym at the Entertainment Centre, with a choice of 4 pools in which to cool off.
    Two large beds: a comfortable wall bed, sofa bed & sofa, sleeps up to 5. It's a separate dwelling with free street parking in a very quiet neighbourhood. You have separate guest access and WIFI. Access four pools with kids pools sauna/steam rooms. Guests will have their own bathroom with a fully functional kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, fridge, toaster & kettle. Linen, towels, soap, tea, coffee machine are included. Two TV's with Foxtel on both. Pets and parties (up to 10 guests) are allowed at a $250 extra fee for parties.
    Although close to some of Sydney's most happening areas, the neighbourhood provides a quiet escape. We are close to some of Sydney's best cafes, bars & restaurants which are only minutes walk away. Minutes walk to Oxford St, SCG, and a 10 minute quick bus to Bondi/City.

There is also a very comfy sofa bed in the sitting room should you need an extra bed! Located in the inner city suburb of Rozelle, our 1870's sandstone house is one bus stop from Sydney CBD. Cool in summer, warm in winter, the location is ideal for short and longer term visitors wanting to be close to all Sydney has to offer.
    IMPORTANT: We are observing the cleaning and disinfecting guidelines set out by Airbnb during the COVID 19 crisis. 1. Ventilate rooms before cleaning. Allow fresh air to circulate for at least 20 minutes. If possible, leave all windows open during the entire cleaning process. 2. Wash hands thoroughly before and after each cleaning. It is private and self contained and has its own door to come and go by. Its a five minute walk to the bus stop, the CBD is one stop away and the bus goes directly to Circular Quay for New Years Eve celebrations. If you have a car there is plenty of free parking outside. Great pubs, wine bars, cafes and restaurants abound and there is a bike to borrow and ride the waterfront Bay Run. There is wifi and a kitchen and all the utensils to cook with should you wish to do so. Breakfast on the sunny veranda in the mornings while the birds sing is delightful.
    Rozelle is an inner city suburb 4 k's to the west of the city centre. Adjacent to historic Balmain, there are many cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars and places to hang out. Or if a picnic takes your fancy harbourside parks abound with electronic bbq's to cook on. Great food shopping at the weekend farmer's market, at the many supermarkets and smaller providores and the famous Sydney fish markets all 10 minutes from our house. There are indigenous art galleries, several cinemas and many good book shops for your enjoyment. I love to cycle and there is mostly car free cycling around the Bay Run and a bike to borrow too.Walks by the harbour are also a joy, especially at sunset.

The double brick walls block out a lot of the sound making the off street section of the house quite peaceful. There's a PS3 avail plus a media player if you want to put movies onto a USB to play it on the tv. CAR- The place does not have a designated car space. If you need parking there is free parking in front of the house on Elizabeth st. No parking is allowed during peak hour 7am- 9am and 4-pm- 6pm. Apart from those hours you can park the car as long as you like. After 6pm on Friday and on the weekend you can park as long as you want. Parking however is subject to availability. If you don't mind a short walk, there are some free stree parking spots in which you can park your car all day around the corner on Cooper st and Walker st.
    Conveniently located near the Sydney CBD the house is on the cusp of the famous Surry Hills and Redfern food/ wine and bar district. Every where is easily accessible by public transport or is within walking distance.

    My home is conveniently located very close to Sydney Airport. Travelling to/from Sydney Airport is only a 5mins by car/taxi/Uber and 16mins by bus. Sydney CBD is also close and is approximately a 15min drive and 30min by public transport. The station is in a walkable distance. There are six furnished rooms in our house. Three bedrooms and one bathroom in the main house, and two rooms in a seperate granny flat with bathroom and kitchenette. Main kitchen is a common area for all guests.
    Located in a seperate granny flat this clean and comfortable bedroom has a double bed so is suitable for one to two people.
