“A visit to Villa Carlotta is suggested to admire a stunning blossoming of camellias, azaleas and rhododendrons. A stroll along the botanical garden of this Villa is a real sensorial experience, you'll be surrounded by the lively colors of its flowers and plants and by their unforgettable perfumes. ”

“NOW YOUR HERE!! Hopefully, you get here around noon and you can have some lunch and enjoy some of the best views in all of Europe. There is a bunch of things you can do here and I would suggest trying to go straight to the glass floor before everyone on your cable car goes in line first. ”

“Sure you can see the water fountain from afar but actually going there is a whole other experience. In the summer you can rent a small boat for up to 6 people without a license and there are lots of activities for locals and tourists. There are also restaurants and bars around if you want to relax and take a break. ”

“Punta Balbianello is a promontory that sticks out into Lake Como near the town of Lenno. This promontory can be reached via a beautiful trail that winds from the bay at Lenno through some gorgeous woodland – this walk is a highlight and is perfect for those who enjoy hiking. Located on the Punta is the Villa Balbianello – this Baroque villa complex was constructed during the 18th century over the original site of a monastery. From this villa you are granted with some sublime views of Lake Como – the various terraces open out onto the lake and you can see for miles across to the opposite shore and the towns of Vergonese and Bellagio.”

“Stroll the promenades around the lake and soak up the atmosphere. Take a dip at Bains de Paquis or just relax in one of the lakeside parks or cafes. For a unique perspective on the city, take a one or two hour boat cruise around the lake.”

“We always take our guests to climb the stairs of the cathedral to admire the 360º view of Geneva. Extrait from Know-it-all passport®: 12th century structure includes an eclectic mix of styles. It is best known as the adopted home church of John Calvin, one of the leaders of the Protestant Reformation. Inside the church is a wooden chair used by Calvin. Note: Fantastic 360° view of Geneva and surrounding mountains from the top. Climb up the 153 stairs, revel in the magnificent views along the way and discover the inner workings of this historical landmark. If you can stand loud noises, then make sure you are at the top on the hour so you can hear at close-hand the bells ring. There are 2 towers, North and South. Note: Please respect the red light/green light system on some of the narrow spiral stairs that allow traffic flow with a one-way system. Price to climb up the tower: Fr. 5.-/adult, Fr. 2.-/child age 6-16. Open October through May 10h-17h30 (Sunday from 12h), June through September 9h30-18h30, Saturday till 17h, Sunday 12h-18h30.”
