“You can go here for a walk or a jog. There are many museums (e.g. military is one of my favorites) that you can visit. In the night, you can admire a beautiful sun set over the confluence of Danube and Sava rivers. ”

“With the surrounding area, Tašmajdan forms the cultural-historical complex Stari Beograd (Old Belgrade), while the park itself is in the zone of the protected natural area of Miocenski sprud-Tašmajdan. The Serbian Emperor Dušan is buried inside, along with the Serbian Patriarch German. Next to it is a small Russian Orthodox church of the Holy Trinity, built in 1924, inside of which the Russian general Pyotr Wrangel is buried”

“This is a very special part of the city and a must see. Kalemegdan Fortress, surrounded by a huge park, looks out over the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers. This is a place where you can see people reading a book, playing chess, enjoying fresh air and a spectacular view!”

“Kalemegdan Park (Serbian: Калемегдански парк / Kalemegdanski park) or simply Kalemegdan (Serbian Cyrillic: Калемегдан), is the largest park and the most important historical monument in Belgrade.[1] It is located on a 125-metre-high (410 ft) cliff, at the junction of the River Sava and the Danube. Its name is formed from the two Turkish words: Kale (meaning "fortress") and archaic word of Turkish origin megdan (meaning "battlefield").”
