Tilbury farm has 2 Holiday Lets located in the same barn and seperated by the guest laundry. The converted barn has one en-suite bedroom with a king size bed sleeping two guests very comfortably. There is a separate living room with open plan kitchen. Within the living room there is a TV with DVD player.
The farm is located high up on the Quantock Hills with amazing far-reaching views and access to miles of footpaths / mountain bike cycling paths.

Taunton is close to the Quantock, Blackdown & Brendon hills and Exmoor. We are 16 miles from Hinkley Point C.
The annexe is light, private and quiet. It is completely self-contained with its own entrance and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It sleeps up to four people (in a double bed and a futon) and is ideal for a family, or a couple. Set in a beautiful garden, with private parking outside the front gate available at all times for our guests, you can unwind and enjoy the slow comforts of Somerset! We are a short walk to town and all amenities. There is also a Tescos only five minutes walk away.
We overlook French Weir park and the river Tone. There are extensive fields across the river, giving the location a peaceful, rural feel even though we are only eight minutes walk from the town centre, which has all the facilities of a County town.

  • Frábært stað, mjög rólegt svæði nálægt sjó, fullt af fallegum upplýsingum í íbúðinni, svo sem flösku af undanrennu í ísskápnum, til góðs kaffis í tveimur afbrigðum sem finnast einnig í eldhúsinu. Það er mjög gott. Carina heimsótti okkur, hún er mjög hjálpsöm manneskja.

  • Virkilega frábær staður til að vera. Gott fyrir alla gesti. Við vorum fjölskylda með tveimur börnum. Það var ánægjulegt að fara í sturtu í svona fallegu baðherbergjum (þau voru tveir), að elda í nútíma eldhúsi og sofa á mjög sléttum blöðum. Um kvöldið spiluðum við fjölskylduleik, sem var þarna, við horfum á myndbandsmynd, sem við fundum með sjónvarpinu, og fékk kvittun frá "Simple cooking" til að borða kvöldmat (einn af bókunum sem eru í boði fyrir gesti). Á daginn heimsóttum við fallega Cheddar gorge, Bath, Bristol. Weston Super Mare er mjög fallegur bær með mörgum fallegum húsum og hótelum. Það er breiður fjara að kanna. Carina er mjög faglegur, góður og alltaf þarna til að hjálpa.

    The Coachman's Flat is part of a third wing of West House, where we believe the servants quarters were. The room is a bright airy private room with windows both sides giving plenty of light. The house is on the edge of the village of Chilton Polden with beautiful views of the Mendips and the Levels and numerous interesting places to visit within easy reach. There is a further Air BnB room opposite this flat called The Footman's Flat and a tenanted flat beneath, all within this third wing.
    We have lots of animals on site here - sheep and lambs; a pig; cats and dogs; chickens; alpacas and horses. You may well see some of these during your visit! We also have a gym on site - CrossFit Wyvern - with a variety of classes including yoga and pilates and use of the gym facility (please ask for details). A chiropractor works part of the week from our gym plus sports therapists (again please ask for details). In addition there is a beauty parlour offering a range of treatments "The Parlour"; a counselling service and a fantastic cafe serving treats and diet specific foods (Fuelled by Liv). You won't be bored!! If you would like breakfast you can visit the cafe (closed Wednesdays) to have a delicious breakfast cooked for you or you can place your order in advance and Liv will deliver your cooked breakfast to your room for a small additional charge. Coffees, lunches and some interesting drinks are on offer as well. Alternatively you may wish to prepare your own food and use the microwave, toaster, fridge and kettle that are in the room. There is a Smart TV for your use. Access to the Coachman's Flat is through a door shared with the ground floor flat and a further Air BnB flat up a stairs; private locked door to the Coachman's Quarters.
    West House and The Coachman's Flat is set in a beautiful part of the country - Somerset - and set just up on the Polden Hills above The Levels with views across to the Mendip Hills where Cheddar Gorge and Crooks Peak can be seen with Brent Knoll and then Glastonbury Tor in the other direction (from certain angles!) There are several local nature reserves which are wonderful to walk around and the levels are teeming with wildlife and amazing sites such as the starling murmerations. If you travel across The Levels at night you will often see a Barn Owl. There are so many special places which are within easy visiting distance - Cheddar Gorge and Caves; Wookey Hole; Glastonbury and the Tor and Abbey; National Trust properties such as Dunster (and then on to Minehead and Exmoor), Montecute, Lytes Cary, Fyne Court plus stunning scenery across the Quantock Hills or Mendip Hills which are wonderful for walking or riding on; Burnham and Brean are unique beaches to visit and walk on; Wells is a quirky and special place to visit with a breathtaking cathedral and Bishops Palace. Also Bath with so much to see; West Somerset Railway, Bristol including The Bristol Hippodrome - and if you are here at the right time in November the Bridgwater Carnival is not to be missed! So much to do and see!

    Wells, the smallest city in England, is set on the western slopes of the Mendip Hills of North Somerset which provide a beautiful backdrop to this historical city. It's compactness allows visitors to enjoy the medieval streets and architecture of foot; visit the stunning cathedral (with reputedly the finest West facade in the country); the beautiful Bishop's Palace Gardens and moat; and enjoy the twice a week famous Wells market which offers fine local foods and produce, arts and crafts. Heading out of the city, there are public footpaths leading to the East and West Mendip ways, without even needing to use a car. The top of Ebbor Gorge provides stunning views of Glastonbury Tor, the Levels and the coast beyond. There are over 9000 rights of way in Somerset, and 72 nature reserves. Large flocks of pintail, teal, widgeon and lapwing are a common sight and visits from patrolling raptors such as peregrine falcon and marsh harrier are common. Pintail duck travel from as far as Russia to spend winter in the this area: and murmurations of starlings are a common sight in the Levels around Glastonbury. Visitors with more time to spare, there are many other places to visit within the area such as stately Bath, spiritual Glastonbury, the market towns of Somerton and Dunster, and of course the shopping experiences of Clark's Village at Street are a must!

    Situated on the ground floor, the stunning Grade II listed Georgian Manor has private parking for one or more cars at the rear of the property (a treat in central Frome) and is accessible from both the rear and front of the building. The apartment itself is very well presented, and is lovely and warm with huge cast iron radiators (three in the main space alone!). For entertainment a library of books has been provided, plus magazines, radio/CD player and collection of CD's and a TV with Netflix and built in DVD player. The kitchen has everything you need to cook up a small feast. With brand new cooker/oven plus Nutri bullet, tea pots, cafetiere, fridge with small freezer compartment and washing machine. There are some fantastic restaurants and bars just a short walk away, more than happy to offer recommendations of places to visit on request.

  • Jane er mjög góður gestgjafi, gagnlegt, samskipti voru fljótleg og ítarlegur. Íbúðin er vel staðsett í rólegu, friðsælu götu, miðbæ nálægt, allt í allt það var tilvalið fyrir vinnu mína og tókst að fá góða nótt að sofa í mjög þægilegum rúminu. Jane heldur plássinu hennar mjög snyrtilegu og hreinum og var mjög stutt í dvöl minni. Ég get aðeins mælt með íbúðinni hennar til að vera.

Peaceful, rural location, but only 5 minutes drive to the City of Wells. There is plenty of off-road parking.
    Swallows Nest has a double bedroom with King Sized bed, a bathroom with bath and shower over. The living space is open plan with a fully equipped kitchen, dining area and sitting room. French doors open out onto the spacious patio with outside seating. The apartment comes complete with a washer/dryer, oven and hob, microwave oven, dishwasher, toaster, coffee machine, a welcome pack of beverages (so you can have a cuppa before you unpack). fridge with small freezer compartment.     A spacious, open-plan, self-contained, self-catering studio apartment in a beautiful country church conversion, tucked away in a quiet, rural setting just 8 miles south of the World Heritage city of Bath. It's a perfect romantic getaway for a couple, or a relaxing space for up to four good friends/family. A unique and peaceful place to stay, and a great base for exploring the beautiful Somerset countryside and the South West.
    The Studio is in one half of a Grade II listed former Victorian church, once a photographic studio, and now artfully transformed into a large and modern, open plan apartment which sleeps 2-4 people. It's quiet and spacious, a perfect space to relax, with everything you need for a comfortable weekend or longer stay. Even though the building is 170 years old, the conversion gives it a light and airy, modern feel whilst retaining some features of the original church. The space was for many years used as a photographic studio where the owners worked together to create images for magazine features, books and advertising. There's a comfortable king-sized bed, plus a double futon which can sleep up to two extra guests, but please note that these are both in the same space so you need to know each other well! You also have your own separate shower room. There's a Smart tv/DVD player/Netflix/Freeview, free wi-fi, plus a selection of books, DVDs, games and local maps. The kitchen is very well-equipped, with a fridge, freezer, dishwasher, double oven and microwave, and a comfortable dining area. We will welcome you with some basic provisions, including butter, eggs, milk, fruit juice and fresh bread, cake or cookies. Underfloor heating will keep your toes warm, and for more chilly days the wood burner stove makes the apartment extra cosy.     The church is on the edge of the small village of Clandown, a former coal-mining community, lying 8 miles south of the Roman city of Bath in North East Somerset, just off the Fosseway and close to the Mendip Hills. It's a quiet and friendly place, with a local shop and community pub. We are in a quiet lane which is a no-through road with very little traffic, so it's peaceful and quiet. Our location gives you peace and quiet, but is also convenient for day trips to all the sights this region has to offer, such as Lyme Regis on the Jurassic coast, beautiful north Devon beaches, Exmoor National Park, Sheppy’s local cider orchards and Forde Abbey, with its spectacular gardens. If you’d rather stay closer to home, there are some lovely walks and several outstanding local pubs, in particular, The Candlelight Inn in the neighbouring village of Bishopswood.

    The stunning Wells Cathedral/Bishop's Palace/moat are a pleasant 20 minute walk away. Morrisons is just over the road (3 minute walk) if you need to grab anything, and is open until 10pm Mon-Sat, plus usual hours on a Sunday. Wells is within easy driving distance of Bath and Bristol; Glastonbury is a 10 min drive; Street (Clark's Village) and the Somerset levels for nature reserves and starling murmerations (Oct-March) are both a 15/20 min drive; Cheddar Gorge is 30 mins away. For a prearranged fee I'm happy to provide transportation.

    The Hide with over 200 visits from happy guests is a small self contained studio with a small shower room approximately 15ft x 11ft and small private court yard approximately 10ft x 7ft. It has everything you need for up to 3 people. 4 ft double bed and a sofa that turns into a single bed. Toaster, kettle, fridge and breakfast is included. Also included is the bed linen, towels, loo roll, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner. Off road parking. Wifi and tv with dvd. Plus I washing up the dishes so you can relax and enjoy your stay. The Hide is located in the Village of Draycott under the Mendip Hills and just above the Somerset levels. It's a great base as this area has so much to offer, whatever your looking for, whatever the weather. Countryside and Nature A short steep walk up the hill leads you to Draycott Sleights part of the West Mendip Way with its outstanding views which is 30 miles long. Down the hill the levels offer flat moor walks and National Nature Reserves for bird and wild life watching. The Strawberry Line is a cycle path which is 32 mile ish, so bring your bike and cycle, we have an outside hose if it gets muddy. The Thatchers cider factory has a pub called The Railway for lush food and cider before returning home. Activities..tonnes Clay shooting range or Gliding field 5 minutes away in a car. Cheddar Gorge 2 minutes in a car. Wookey Hole is 15 minutes away in a car. Wells is 6 miles and Glastonbury 11 miles in a car. Designer shopping at Clarks Village, Kilver Court or the Mulberry factory shop. Local produce Drop into Land's End farm and try Roger Wilkins cider. You have never seen anything like it before. Or come for the Wassailing in January. Cheddar Ale brewed just down the road, you can pop in the factory and buy it. Local Draycott Strawberries are the best and we have 2 growers selling them just along the road. Of course there is the cave aged Cheddar Cheese to try. The list is endless.     A lovely self-contained ground floor flat within an old farmers cottage. Bright spacious lounge, fully equipped kitchen, shower room, double bedroom and outside patio area. Canal walks, town centre and large Tesco all a short walk away I am sorry but I can no longer accommodate pets at present.
    The flat was converted in 2014, featuring brand new fittings throughout. It is a comfortable size for a couple, with a particularly nice bright lounge and a decent size fully functioning kitchen with a fridge freezer and a washing machine. I am happy to leave bread/ milk cereals for breakfast. there is a wi fi connection.
    Canal Hill is a pleasant road with a mixture of old and new properties, mostly detached. It hosts the entrance to the Great Western Canal (100m from the flat), which offers pleasant canal-side walking and a horse drawn boat in the summer. Tiverton is well located for visiting the beautiful Devonshire countryside, and the north and south Devon coastlines are both within driving distance for enjoyable day-trips. The historic cathedral city of Exeter is accessible via a pretty 30 minute drive through the Exe Valley countryside or via the motorway if you prefer. Night life in Tiverton itself is fairly quiet but there are a good variety of pubs and restaurants to keep you entertained. There are also several country pubs within a short driving distance. Bickliegh Mill is a lovely coffee/ gift shop and restaurant located a short drive away in the Exe Valley. The Fisherman's Cot is a popular pub on the River Exe with a beautiful outdoor seating area offering riverside views of Bickleigh Bridge.

    The accommodation is a self-contained annex decorated in vintage style. It includes a chunky pine double bed, pine bunk beds, sofa, games chest, Sky TV, wifi, bathroom (with bath and shower) and a well equipped kitchen with dining table. It fits up to 2 adults, 2 children and a baby. Travel cot, highchair, toys and bedding provided. Between 9-10am (Spring and Summer) daily, we can take you on a tour of our idyllic smallholding where you can feed and pet the sheep and feed and water our pigs.
    Although this is listed as 1 bedroom, the bunk beds and double beds are in separate areas divided by a curtain. The TV is in the same area as the bunk beds. This may not be ideal if you’re planning to watch TV after the kids go to bed. It is great in the morning though if you fancy a lie-in!! The accommodation is clean and has been designed as a short term holiday let. It is light and airy by day and cosy by night. It includes every essential but with personality. We want everyone to enjoy their stay, learn more about animals and farming and return home as a friend, not a guest. This accommodation works best when used as a base to explore the lovely local area rather than as somewhere to stay indoors 24/7 particularly if it's fully occupied. The accommodation is designed to be quirky, comfortable and functional. We endeavour to clean and maintain everything to the best of our abilities and we do not charge for cleaning like many other hosts do. If you are looking for somewhere to stay that represents great value and will leave you with a wonderful set of memories, then we’re the place you’re looking for!
    We have heaps of places to see, shop at, eat in and generally people watch all within 10-15 minutes drive. Our village has a small farm shop selling essentials or a host of supermarkets can be found in Glastonbury and Street. Our village is particularly beautiful and offers the opportunity to relax, walk, cycle, birdwatch and just enjoy the countryside! We provide a local paper so you can find what's on while you're here. Glastonbury has a beautiful Abbey, the newly transformed Rural Life Museum, wonderful cafes, quirky shops and of course the Tor. Wookey Hole Caves is a favourite for families. Longleat Safari Park and Bristol Zoo are essential if you love animals. If you're into boys toys then head to Haynes Motor Museum or the Fleet Air Arm Museum. Clarks Village Outlet Village is a dream destination for shoppers. If beautiful scenery are more your thing then head to Cheddar Gorge or Stourhead. If you like a bit of history and culture Wells and Bath are both within an hours drive, are stunning and have great shops too.

Kitchen has a refrigerator with small freezer box, half size dishwasher, 2 ring induction hob and a small combination oven/microwave/grill. Tea, Nespresso coffee capsules, sugar and fresh milk supplied. Other essentials provided include, cooking oil, a range of herbs and spices and condiments.
    The Three Horseshoes Public House is just next door, serving outstanding food and boasting a garden with amazing views across the Wilsthire countryside. Cley Hill itself is a short distance away providing manageable walks and outstanding views. Also nearby is Heavens Gate which looks out over the Longleat house estate. The famous Longleat House and Safari Park is literally only 5 minutes away and Stonehenge is an easy 20 minute drive.

    Originally part of the servants quarters to West House, this part of the North Wing has been made into a comfortable studio flat with kitchen and beautiful en-suite bathroom including roll top bath and walk in shower. There is a further Air BnB flat opposite The Footman's Flat and a tenanted flat beneath. With an on-site quirky cafe; gym and exercise studio; beauty parlour and animals this is an unusual place to stay with plenty going on and choices of places to visit and things to do.
    West House is set on the edge of Chilton Polden on the Polden Hills between Street and Bridgwater and overlooking the Somerset Levels towards the Mendip Hills. The main house is of Gothic Victorian style with a beautiful old Coach House set behind the house and plenty of other quirky buildings around. We have lots of animals on site here - sheep and lambs; a pig; cats and dogs; chickens; alpacas and horses. You may well see some of these during your visit! We also have a gym on site - CrossFit Wyvern - with a variety of classes including yoga and pilates and use of the gym facility (please ask for details). A chiropractor works part of the week from our gym plus sports therapists (again please ask for details). In addition there is a beauty parlour offering a range of treatments "The Parlour"; a counselling service and a fantastic cafe serving treats and diet specific foods (Fuelled by Liv) You won't be bored!! If you would like breakfast you can visit the cafe (closed Wednesdays) to have a delicious breakfast cooked for you or you can place your order in advance and Liv will deliver your cooked breakfast to your room for a small additional charge. Coffees, lunches and some interesting drinks are on offer as well. Alternatively you may wish to prepare your own food and use the kitchen in the studio flat. There is a Smart TV for your use plus a spacious bathroom with roll top bath for a relaxing soak or a walk in shower with a standard or rainfall shower head. Access is through a door shared with the ground floor flat and a further Air BnB flat (The Coachman's Quarters) up a stairs; private locked door to the Footman's Flat.
    West House and The Footman's Flat is set in a beautiful part of the country - Somerset - and set just up on the Polden Hills above The Levels with views across to the Mendip Hills where Cheddar Gorge and Crooks Peak can be seen with Brent Knoll and then Glastonbury Tor in the other direction (from certain angles!) There are several local nature reserves which are wonderful to walk around and the levels are teeming with wildlife and amazing sites such as the starling murmerations. If you travel across The Levels at night you will often see a Barn Owl. There are so many special places which are within easy visiting distance - Cheddar Gorge and Caves; Wookey Hole; Glastonbury and the Tor and Abbey; National Trust properties such as Dunster (and then on to Minehead and Exmoor), Montecute, Lytes Cary, Fyne Court plus stunning scenery across the Quantock Hills or Mendip Hills which are wonderful for walking or riding on; Burnham and Brean are unique beaches to visit and walk on; Wells is a quirky and special place to visit with a breathtaking cathedral and Bishops Palace. Also Bath with so much to see; West Somerset Railway, Bristol including The Bristol Hippodrome - and if you are here at the right time in November the Bridgwater Carnival is not to be missed! So much to do and see!

    Ninesprings Apartment is a fully renovated large bright and airy 2 bedroom flat situated on the fringes of Ninesprings Country Park in Yeovil, yet only 5 minutes walk from the town centre. If you are a small group of 1 - 4 people and you're wondering where to stay in Yeovil, we offer a very realistically priced holiday let (often less than the cost of a B&B) in the heart of our historic town. Come and enjoy our lovely two bedroom flat which we've recently furnished and decorated. Double glazing windows throughout and new boiler system, together with a modern theme adopted in every room. The large bedrooms have generous storage and views overlooking Ninesprings Country Park. Bedroom 1 boasts a double bed; bedroom 2 has 2 single beds. The living room comprises of 2 large leather sofas, LCD TV, DVD/USB player, plus bean bag. The kitchen is fully equipped with electric oven & hob, large fridge/freezer, washer/dryer.     Yeovil - the major town of South Somerset - boasts a fascinating history, the best shopping centre in a very wide area and enough attractions to fill several days of a holiday. Its modern pedestrian shopping precinct recalls the town's Roman roots in its name, the Quedam, while housing many national retailers. The town centre also has a major department store, countless specialist shops and outdoor markets on Tuesdays and Fridays. Yeovil used to have a thriving livestock market which was a constant reminder that, despite its business parks and modern industries, Yeovil is a country town at heart. Beautiful, accessible countryside stretches all along its southern rim and beyond, with footpaths to walk and sights to see. The Middle Street area is now fully pedestrianised and a bandstand has been erected. It is also now the location of Yeovil's outdoor markets mentioned earlier. The market place seen here in the bottom picture is known as 'The Borough' as it was the heart of the old medieval borough. The Town Hall (opened in 1849) can be seen in the background, the building was subsequently destroyed in 1935 by fire. The area now houses the war memorial. The photograph was taken c.1914.
