A cozy cottage behind a lovely Victorian house. It has a 3/4 bath (shower). The cottage has a brick patio and a large trellis covered with roses and grape vines set in an English Garden. Also, see our equally nice "Victorian in the Heart of Ballard" rental: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/20928
A cozy cottage behind a lovely Victorian house with separate access and a 3/4 (meaning shower but no bathtub) bathroom. The cottage has a brick patio and a large trellis on the south side covered with roses, grape vines, and wisteria and is surrounded by an English Garden. The pictures posted should give you the right idea. (Alternative accommodation: We also have a really lovely rental space in the main house. See: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/20928 ) The cottage: there is a microwave, a small fridge, and an electric kettle for making coffee or tea. It offers considerable privacy if that is desired. The bed is queen-sized. Extra high-speed WiFi is also provided along with cable TV, including all of the premium channels. It is also possible to close some giant wood-paneled pocket doors if you want to divide the studio into a bedroom and sitting room, if case someone wants to sleep and someone else does not. The cottage is used as a studio by Liz (who is the English gardener) when it is not being used as a guest house. So there is a lot of (really excellent) art, mostly studies in the human form, on the walls and shelves. (If you would like a cast of one of the statues, talk to Liz.) The Ballard Neighborhood is a great place to visit: *10 minute walk to downtown Ballard with fabulous bars and restaurants, great Sunday farmers market, nice three-screen cinema, and much more. *5 minute walk to the Ballard Locks, where ships enter and exit Puget Sound from Seattle waterways. *10 minute drive to downtown Seattle. Buses also run regularly downtown from close by - either to downtown Seattle or to the University District and elsewhere. Evenings are very quiet here and the air quality is unusually good for a city. We get a fresh sea breeze off of Puget Sound in the early evening. Guests find the cottage a calming and refreshing refuge from the bustle of the city.
Ballard is a fantastic destination neighborhood for restaurants and bars and music. We are an easy walk (5-10 minutes) from downtown Ballard. Great breakfast places even closer.
  • My husband and I stayed in Brad and Liz's artists cottage for two nights, and it was great! The cottage is charming and we had everything we needed. It was fun to explore Ballard, and the neighborhood was great for running, with a path by the water just a few blocks away. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at the Walrus and the Carpenter as well!

  • What a wonderful place to stay! Instantly, I felt at home by the welcoming hosts, Brad & Liz. Of course, I can't forget about the cats, Jasper and Lily. I was surrounded by comfort and amazing art. When in Seattle, you won't find a better place to stay. I'll definitely be back.

    Gina2015-10-24T00:00:00Z
  • Brad met me on my arrival and gave me a tour of the cottage. The cottage is exactly as pictured and described. It was perfect for my plans for a concert and meeting up with family who live near Ballard. The cottage is very comfortable and clean. The bed provides an excellent night of sleep. The garden setting is beautiful and welcoming. Walking in the neighborhood and in Ballard is safe and fun with many local cafes and shops. I can hardly wait to return!

  • This was a very fortunate find. Ballard is a great neighborhood with tons of restaurants, bars and coffee shops and the cottage is just a couple of minutes walking from the neighborhood center. The cottage itself is beautiful: complete a nice little kitchenette, interesting books, mini-fridge and anything else that you might need. The hosts were great too!

    Kevin2012-01-16T00:00:00Z
  • Brad & Liz's cottage was a cozy, warm and accommodating home during our stay in Seattle filled with artwork and beautiful sculptures. Ballard is a very cool area with great small bars and restaurants and easy transport to downtown. They were easy to communicate with and their cats were adorable and welcoming. Highly recommended for your stay in the Pacific Northwest.

  • THIS IS THE CUTEST COTTAGE. EVER. We absolutely loved our stay at Erik and Pamela's adorable cottage. Every detail in the cottage was attended to: restaurant menus, a hairdryer, cleaning supplies, logs, iphone charging cords, etc. The fireplace was incredible - we happened to visit Seattle during a particularly rainy and cold weekend....the fireplace kept the cottage romantic and cozy. Their place was within a five-ten minute walk of the hippest places in Capital Hill. Should we get an opportunity to return to Seattle again, we will DEFINITELY stay here! I could not recommend this cottage more!

    Beth2014-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • This cottage has everything a highly rated hotel has, plus more: more privacy, more fun, walkable distance from downtown, and located in a stunning neighborhood. Fully functional kitchen, bathroom with amenities, and comfiest bed ever!

    Elizabeth2019-01-23T00:00:00Z
  • Really nice space, clean, well appointed, quiet, clearly very cared for. Trip was a breeze!

    Hal2017-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage was clean and cozy and in a great location. The hosts were clear and prompt in their communications. The description was very accurate, and the maps and folder with more detailed info about the cottage and surrounding area were a nice touch. Hassle-free experience, great place. Thanks!

    David2016-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Erik and Pamela's cottage was absolutely adorable! We loved staying here and it was so conveniently located. The cottage had every type of amenity you could ever need, and they even had it ready before our set check in time. It was a great place to relax and come back to after a long day of exploring. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the Seattle area.

    Alana2016-10-04T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I enjoyed every minute of our cottage experience. It is a perfect little crash pad for a solo traveler or a couple. Erik and Pamela have an impeccable eye for detail with their decor and housekeeping, and are very warm and welcoming in their communication. We didn't use many of the cottage amenities because we were only there for a night, but this place would be great for any length of stay, with its fully functional kitchen and laundry facilities. I have already started recommending this place to friends and family! Thanks, y'all!

    Lily2013-04-12T00:00:00Z
  • Perfectly appointed gem! From the lush little pergola for morning tea, to the toasty under-matress heater, to the everything-you-could-possiby-need-or-want on a cottage retreat in Seattle, oh and power points in all the right places. It felt like home.

Escape the bustle of the city and relax in a cozy backyard sanctuary. Sample local craft beer in an Adirondack chair in the garden, and switch on a heat lamp when it gets chilly. Watch a widescreen TV from the bed and make espresso in the morning.
This adorable cottage comes complete with queen bed, hardwood flooring, kitchenette with Farmhouse sink, kitchen island, fridge freezer, Kuerig coffee maker, toaster, slow cooker, and induction hot plate. With a 50 gallon water heater there will be enough hot water for all your needs. The high end bathroom is completed with a Kohler sink, toilet and hardware. There is also a closet to hang and store clothes and bags. The cottage is heated via high efficiency electric infra red heaters mounted on the ceiling. There is also a whole house ventilation system to keep the air fresh throughout the year (the switch to turn hi/low or on/off is inside the closet). Cable TV, wifi and a DVD player are also available. Amazon and Netflix are included on the smart TV for your use with your own passwords. Free parking is available on the street in front of the Cottage/Main house.
The Seattle neighborhood of Ballard has many restaurants, bars, coffee shops, a cinema, bakeries, and quirky stores. The Sunday market is a must. Golden Gardens Beach, the Ballard Locks, and the Nordic Heritage Museum are all close by.
  • Great place! We would definitely come back to stay here. Cozy and comfortable.

    JoAnn2017-12-12T00:00:00Z
  • The Backyard Cottage exceeded our expectations. Tucked away on a quiet street, the cottage is very clean and quiet. The French doors open on to a small sitting area that is protected by trees. Bev communicated frequently without being one bit intrusive and was flexible and warm. The Cottage is conveniently located within easy walking distance of down-town Ballard. We would stay there again in a second.

  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Ballard Backyard Cottage and would highly recommend it to anyone who is visiting Ballard. The location for us was ideal (2 blocks from my daughter's house). The cottage was stylish and very clean with great amenities. Public transportation was close and easy to use. Bev and Grant were very hospitable. Great place and a great value.

The West Seattle neighborhood is a favorite of Seattlites--known for its friendly people, stellar views, excellent restaurants and bars, and most famously, Alki Beach.
  • The only thing wrong with Tipsy is that there are not enough stars to give it, 5+++. It was clean, great location and way more than we expected. It's by far the best ARBNB we have stayed in.

    Stacey2017-01-28T00:00:00Z
  • Tipsy Tiny was a great experience. Exactly as described and even more beautiful in person! Hosts were available at all times and very welcoming. Great neighborhood. Couldn't be more pleased with the experience! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place.

    Jennifer2016-07-19T00:00:00Z
  • Tipsy the Tiny house was amazing! The amount of work that's gone into some of the little design touches must be incredible, but it made it an unforgettable experience! I now yearn for a tiny house.. and am full of great ideas for one too after staying here!

    Aaron2018-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • Tipsy was a great & unique getaway!

    Kate2019-06-30T00:00:00Z
  • Tipsy was great! I had a little trouble finding the place at first, but the host was sweet enough to walk me through it :) not too far away from downtown Seattle area, which was nice. The bed was super comfy! I felt safe, lots of video surveillance in the neighborhood which is good! I would love to stay here again!

    Lauren2019-05-16T00:00:00Z
  • Beautifully built and cozy!

    Sarah2018-05-21T00:00:00Z
  • If you're curious about Tiny Home living as we were then this is an exceptionally easy way to try the lifestyle on for size ... "tiny" size, that is. You'll find little fault in this lovely design and you'll also learn a lot about yourself. If TipsyTiny doesn't fit then nothing will as Tiny Homes don't come any nicer than this.

    Travis2017-08-29T00:00:00Z
  • Host was very responsive to any questions we had. The place was absolutely gorgeous and you could really tell they put a lot of effort into making it an excellent place to stay. I'll definitely be coming back with my girlfriend when we visit Seattle together.

Conveniently located near the Island's village & Seattle ferry, this 200sq ft architecturally-designed, eco-friendly backyard guesthouse is the perfect getaway. Ride into town on the bikes, enjoy the hot tub, garden patio and fire-pit. ***Ask us about adding a sailing excursion to your stay!
This is a 200 sq ft guesthouse located next to our main house in the backyard. It has its own bathroom and shower, and kitchenette - a coffee maker with complimentary coffee and tea selection. A mini-fridge, microwave, electric tea kettle complete the kitchenette. The studio is flooded with natural light and a full suite of blinds on lower windows provides complete privacy should you desire that. Like the unit, the hot water heater is small so short showers (6 mins) are recommended (unless you like them cold). If you like long showers this is probably not the place for you. If the water begins to lose heat, it only takes about 30min to recharge. We also have a pack-n-play available upon request for a baby. Just keep in mind that the space gets pretty tight when it is in there. The guesthouse does not have a TV but you'll find a delightful patio garden with a fire-pit, gas grill and hot tub to enjoy instead. The guesthouse is located in a quiet residential neighborhood near to our little town of Winslow and all its amenities, and close to the Bainbridge/Seattle ferry. While not in the country it has a delightful mix of deep green, moss, and natural sunlight. We think it's perfect. We might have a slight bias, but still. **Please scroll down this page (below the reviews) to read more details on our location and how to get around.
Our Island guesthouse is just under a mile (.9), about a 15 minute walk from the Seattle ferry, a 25 minute (1 mile) walk to the quaint village of Bainbridge Island (Winslow) and only a 5 minute walk, through the back of our neighborhood, to our up-town shopping area: Ace Hardware, McDonalds, Walgreens, Safeway, Family Restaurants & of course a Starbucks. In a car or on a bike, it's all moments away. Our residential neighborhood is full of kind, working families and it's quiet. The place has a unique blend of being close in, while feeling a bit further out.
  • We enjoyed Ben and Deb's place. We were looking for a quiet end to our trip to the PNW and this was a great finale. The bikes were fun to ride around the island. We didn't try the hot tub but it looked decent. The place as accurately described, it was nice and cozy. Great tea selection too!

    Michael2017-05-16T00:00:00Z
  • Ben and Deb were great hosts!! They were quick to reply with any questions we had and gave great recommendations. They gave us our privacy when needed but were extremely friendly and happy to help with anything! The location was perfect, walking distance from a lot of things. We would definitely come back and stay again!

    Paul2018-11-14T00:00:00Z
  • Great small-but-stylish space in a beautiful backyard. Friendly hosts. Close to everything Bainbridge has to offer.

    Erik2019-04-01T00:00:00Z
  • We loved Ben and Deb's place on Bainbridge! Didn't need a car to explore all the island and Seattle had to share. The hosts were very friendly, accommodating and just plain nice to talk with. The room is the perfect size for a brief getaway and has all you really need. Get out and explore! We also took Ben up on a 3 hour sail out of Bainbridge and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We'd highly recommend adding that on to your stay!

    Justin2017-05-01T00:00:00Z
  • Nice little place. Private, clean, well kept. Close to town. Would stay there again.

    Bill2019-07-23T00:00:00Z
  • This was the perfect getaway from the rush and excitement of Seattle. The island was quiet and beautiful. Ben and Deb’s place was close to the ferry stop (15-20 minute walk, or a cheap Lyft or Uber ride) yet secluded and quiet. And the hot tub was the perfect ending to a day of exploring. Thanks for a great stay!

Our Little House is easy walking distance from some of Seattle's best coffee, restaurants, markets and retail stores. The house, formerly a garage, was completely renovated in 2013. It sits behind our main house and includes shared access to a courtyard, outdoor seating and a BBQ grill.
When Benjamin was 9, he vacationed with his family in a loft style cabin. His love of lofts grew from there. Originally built as a guest house for family and friends and used as an occasional home office, we decided to open it up to travelers who want to visit Seattle and in particular our community of Ballard. The house is 363 square feet and contains a sleeping loft accessed by a ship style ladder. Guests access the house through a separate gate at the end of our driveway, which opens into the courtyard. The house is quiet and comfortable complete with a kitchen, small fridge, living area and bathroom. The queen sized bed is new as of September 2016.
Ballard is a popular Seattle neighborhood with a rich Scandinavian heritage and history as a "sleepy fishing village." Ballard isn't sleepy anymore. Our neighborhood is hopping with retail, nightlife and great restaurants. Independent shops including two record and CD stores, an independent bookstore and many non-chain restaurants and retail stores. We have easy access to the Metro bus just one block away from our place. A 15 - 20 minute ride by car or bus puts you downtown near the WA state ferries, Pike's market, the Space Needle and Seattle Center. Golden Gardens (one of our favs) is two miles away and has a beach including views of the Olympic mountains and the Puget Sound. Our Airbnb guidebook has recommendations for many of our top places. If you are looking for something not covered in the guidebook, let us know and we will do our best to point you in the right direction.
  • This truly was a magical place. It is tucked away in Ballard and is so close to everything from the restaurants to the beach. What a unique and extraordinary place to vacation! You must try cafe Besalu and have a fire in the backyard.

  • Really lovely, tiny loft house in a great location. Pictures are true to life and we really enjoyed the rustic, wood feel and were walking distance to plenty of local places + coffee to enjoy. Thank you Ben & family for sharing your space!

  • Funky little house in great, walkable location. Sink less bathroom was the only negative feature. Friendly neighbors and easy going host and hostess.

  • A really fantastic place to stay.

    Benjamin2017-05-25T00:00:00Z
  • Ben's tiny home was the cutest place I've ever stayed! The pictures are great but it was even better in person. Ben was kind enough to give us a couple of eclipse glasses and we watched the eclipse, through the skylight while lying in bed! I cannot say enough about how great this experience was and how much I recommend this AirBNB!

    Ashley2017-08-22T00:00:00Z
  • The location was brilliant and we are really glad we stayed in Ballard and not Downtown - there are some great bars and restaurants here. It had everything you need and was a great base to discover Seattle. Thanks Benjamin!

Comfortable Studio Apartement with private entrance and patio one block away from beautiful walks or bike rides along the canal to central Fremont and beyond. Plenty of restaurants, coffeeshops etc. in walking distance. Very easy to get around town from here..
Enjoy peekaboo-views of ships passing by. On sunny days you can see the Olympic Mountains. The Studio is comfortable for 2 people (up to 3 possible by prior arrangement). - full kitchen with gas range, convection oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, dishes etc. . - charcoal grill - bamboo flooring with hydronic floor heat - full bath with big tub - queen size bed, seven foot couch - on street parking - good southwest/ afternoon light - furnished with unique pieces, vintage and handcrafted items. We enjoyed creating a space that we would love to stay in. Please notice that we ( my husband , our 14 year old son and I )live upstairs. There is sound insulation between the floors but you will still hear us somewhat.
Located: - very close to the Burke Gilman Trail - 30 min. walk from central Ballard or the Zoo - 5 min. walk to Ross Park (neighborhood kid's playground) - 10 min. walk from major retailer/ grocery Fremont is a popular neighborhood with plenty of good restaurants, bars, coffeeshops, boutiques and a great healthfoodstore. Fremont Sunday Market and Ballard Farmers Market are highlites in Seattle.
  • This space was perfect for our stay in Seattle. It had everything we needed, was very comfortable and we loved the way it was set up. Was a great base for exploring Fremont and Ballard. We had our own car and never had problems finding parking in front of the house. Manuela was very helpful and responsive throughout the process. We would definitely stay here again!

    Holly2014-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • So comfy and cute! Very relaxing and private also. Perfect for the night! Thank you so much for letting us stay. Would love to again some day!

    Cody2017-04-30T00:00:00Z
  • I can't say enough about how wonderful it is to stay here! Perfect location. So charming. Lovely, thoughtful decor and Manuela is just the best host! Highly, highly recommend!

    Kathryn2016-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • Manuela is a great and considerate host - already before our arrival she provided a lot of useful information via e-mail (e.g. where to rent bikes or which car rentals to use). The space itself is beautifully decorated and comfortable (great bed, couch, rocking chair and of course bath), including a full kitchen with even the basic herbs, olive oil, local coffee and organic tea etc. I was impressed that all of the products in the studio seemed from organic origins / producers. During our stay Manuela gave us great advice on where to do our groceries, where to dine and what to see in the neighbourhood. Fremont is definitely a good neighbourhood to stay, especially if you need to easily access the UW campus, which was about 20 minutes of biking for us, every day, via the Burke-Gilman trail. In addition, Fremont provides great views on Seattle skyline, especially over the Gasworks park or from just across Fremont brewery. I hope to be visiting Seattle and Manuela's place again in the future!

This location is ideal if you want to explore Seattle. It is located close to the Burke Gilman trail. Lots of great food, coffee and beer within walking distance.

  • This is a cute little apartment in a great location close to nice restaurants and public transportation. West facing for great afternoon light! Nice and modern. Very clean. Great kitchen and bathroom! The only issue for some folks might be that the owner and her family live above (as this is a basement apartment) and so you can hear noise above you. It usually stops by 10PM but if you go to bed early, are a light sleeper, or might be jet-lagged it might cause some problems. For the most part it wasn't an issue but I did get woken up in the middle of the night once from noise above. Otherwise this is a great place and would recommend it.

My place is close to Roanoke Park, UW, Amazon, Microsoft, and Children's Hospital. You’ll love my place because of the comfy bed, the coziness, and the views. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.
Lower level of large house overlooking portage bay. You will have total privacy, your own back door, 1 bedroom, a living area with breakfast bar and wet bar / kitchen and full bathroom with a newly tiled shower. Roku is provided on 50 inch tv with Netflix already to go. Milk, tea, coffee and cereal are also provided. Main bed is Queen sized. Second bed is a single sized rollaway. Both have full bleeding, blankets etc. Towels are also provided.
Portage bay is ideally located for access to UW (20 min walk), Downtown, Amazon, and access to Microsoft (short drive or bus on 520). Also, we are in walking distance to the UW Light Rail station, for travel to the airport.
  • You will be in a great location. But I would not stay there again. Bathroom is very small and outdated. It was odd to me that there was carpet in the bathroom. The layout was a bit different. My bf and I ended up sleeping on the couch. There was a slight musty smell to the rental. On a good note, you get private entrance, kitchen amenities, and a friendly greeting from the owners.

  • The space was very cozy and we were plenty warm during the rare Seattle cold snap. Being able to watch Netflix, etc. on the big flatscreen tv was a treat. It was also great to be able to enjoy hot tea with the provided tea and water boiler. The place is also conveniently located near public transit.

    Maggie2017-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • Pete's place was great. We loved the neighborhood and exploring a less touristy part of the city. It had easy access to downtown and thanks to the hills, great views. We highly recommend.

New cottage, cabin-like, in the heart of Seattle. Close to bus line, cruise ships, shops, restaurants, waterfront, parks, bike paths, stadiums, Space Needle. Our cottage offers a kitchen, w/d and queen bed among other amenities. Built green.
Spacious studio with 12 foot ceiling, barn door hardware, functional kitchen with granite countertops and recycled old growth pine used on interior walls of room.
Magnolia is an ideal location - close to downtown Seattle (1.4 miles), the Space Needle (2 miles), the Waterfront (1.6 miles) and 1/2 mile to the Cruise Ships. Magnolia Village offers a variety of cafes, shops and restaurants. We are also located by the bike path along the Waterfront and Pike Place Market.
  • Kathy & Dan are very welcoming hosts who go out of their way to ensure that you have a pleasant stay. The cottage is lovely - clean, comfy & private. It is in a nice area just down a short hill from the bus which takes you downtown. There are no shops nearby but it is easy to get food delivered, though it would be good to have a few basics provided so that you could make yourself a light breakfast.

    Roz2016-05-18T00:00:00Z
  • I really enjoyed staying at the cottage! It was very cozy and convenient for me stay while I was exploring Seattle for the first time. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here while visiting the city!

  • Very nice place. Very clean & a cool little cottage. I would suggest putting a small sign as to where people should park so it's more clear- there were a few flower areas & it was somewhat confusing but a nice place & really easy drive!

    Anna2016-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • Staying at the cottage was an excellent experience! Kathy and Dan were such great hosts and made us feel so welcome. The room was cozy and comfortable and we will definitely recommend this place to any friends traveling in the area. We booked this just for a place to sleep on our last night but it was so much more than just that! Highly recommended! Short drive to all the Seattle sights and a nice neighborhood!

  • I worldwide highly recommend this cottage. It is by far the nicest AirBnb we have ever stayed in. It was comfortable, had everything we needed and so so cozy. The location was also great, close to downtown and in a nice quiet area. Thanks for having us!!

  • This airBnB is perfect for a stay in Seattle. Very centrally located while still being quiet and low key. The house itself was super clean and had all of the necessities. Would definitely recommend staying here, and it will be the first place I look for any future trips to Seattle.

This lofty flat is located in the middle of the busiest area of downtown Seattle. Here you can experience the hustle and bustle of Seattle’s business district alongside the ever popular tourist hot spots such as the Pike Place Market.
The neighborhood is full of things to do. These include the Seattle Great Wheel, taking a walk down the Seattle Water Piers, shopping and eating at Pike Place Market, perusing the artwork at SAM, and frequenting countless bars and restaurants.
  • Olivia & Brian’s home was really lovely! It looked exactly as it does in the pictures and she provided all the needed amenities. It was also in a really convenient location especially since we mainly wanted to check out the downtown Seattle area and it’s just a few min from Pike Place and some great coffee. The feel of the home was also really simple and cozy and it made our stay here in Seattle even better. Highly recommend this home to anyone!

  • Amazing location! Clean and comfortable, everything you need. Location is amazing!

    Emily2019-10-17T00:00:00Z
  • Note that check-in time is 4pm (which is listed but I failed to notice this, my fault of course) and it was a bit of a problem because I had planned on being free of my bags closer to 1pm. Checking bags earlier was possible, but at an extra fee. The host was fast to reply to any questions, both before and during my booking. The location was very good for me as I had commitments in the area. It's a bit of a tricky block only because to get from the previous block to this block you may have to go down some very long stairs, not ideal with bags, but you can of course take a car right to the address (I was coming from a nearby meeting and thought I could easily walk there). Note that the correct address is not the one that's provided in the reservation note, but something about a block away from there, which the host informed me of after I booked so at least I knew in plenty of time.

    Wesley2019-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great downtown/near water location. Within a small radius you'll find plenty of good eating, the train station, and the water's edge. The *only* downside is staying here in the peak of summer heat. Because there is no A/C (very common in Seattle) you have to sleep with the windows open and the tradeoff is noise. Sleep with earplugs and it will work fine. Any other time of year this won't be an issue. I found the place clean and comfortable and the hosts are great.

    David2018-08-02T00:00:00Z
  • The space was so perfect and the location was second to none! Olivia was great to work with and our experience was made all the better for having been able to stay where we did. Thank you Olivia and Brian

We at Emerald Stays welcome you to our modern and stylish vacation rental condo, in a brand new building located in the hip Belltown neighborhood of Seattle. The absolute best thing about this apartment is the location, located in Belltown, the residential neighborhood of Downtown. You will be steps away from the famous Pike Place Market, Puget Sound Waterfront, Seattle Aquarium & everything Downtown. The Space Needle & the rest of the Seattle Center are also within walking distance. You will also find some of Seattle's best restaurants, cafes, bakeries, bars & lounges, just outside the building. With a Walkscore of 98 and transit score of 100, the building is a "Walker's Paradise". So you can skip renting a car. The Convention Center is just 15 mins walk away. You can also catch buses to all of Seattle from across the block and Zipcars are 3 blocks away. This condo’s location makes it ideal for both business and holiday travelers. Since the building just opened up in June 2013, everything is new, modern and stylish. As soon as you enter the building’s spacious, beautiful lobby, you will notice the well-equipped 24-hour gym to your left. At the first chance you get, take the elevator up to the rooftop deck and you will be treated to awesome views of downtown and the waterfront. The rooftop deck also has a comfortable lounging area and is fitted with BBQ grills. The apartment itself is a modern open one-bedroom with hardwood floors and excellent furnishings. The huge windows provide ample light and a spacious feel to the condo. We have furnished this place such that you will feel absolutely at home. Between the plush queen bed and futon (which unfolds to a full size bed), this apartment will comfortably accommodate 3 guests. Apart from the towels and linens already laid out, there are many more to spare in the closets. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances & is fully equipped with everything you need to cook, serve and enjoy a wonderful meal (How about taking the food upstairs and making a picnic out of it). We think Internet is a basic utility and provide dedicated high-speed Wifi. There is a 43-inch HDTV with complimentary Netflix. Please note, we do not provide Cable on the TV. The Roku box does provide you access to news and on-demand programming. There is also TV with cable in the common lounging space. Come live like Locals in one of the most premium buildings of Seattle! It is a No Smoking Building, so we will expect you to respect that. Parking : Parking in the building can be arranged ( based on availability) at $20 per day. Although if you are staying in the center of the city you don't need a car at all.
  • Our stay here was easy and all we needed at the end of a long trip. Sid was beyond helpful with checking in and the location was great in terms of being in the middle of it all.

  • Place was great! Easy checkin and a cozy apt.

    David2017-04-05T00:00:00Z
  • The place is in the perfect location and we had a great time in Seattle! The apartment has everything you need including a collection of Seattle books, maps, transit info, etc... I plan to rent this place again on my next trip to Seattle!

  • Great apartment and fantastic location with nice local bars and restaurants. An easy walk to downtown, markets and attractions. Super comfy bed, and sofa bed and clean and tidy throughout. The roof terrace is a great way to unwind at the end of the day and watch the sun set over the mountains. We really enjoyed our stay here.

    Tony2014-04-15T00:00:00Z
  • Great place I will definitely be returning

    Hugh2017-04-07T00:00:00Z
  • Neha was a very nice host, who didn't mind when I called her directly after the door buzzer call box inadvertently called the wrong host. The place worked very well for my family, even our 6 week old daughter found it perfect. Would recommend this place and stay here again without hesitation.

    John2014-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • What an incredible experience my wife and I had staying at Sids wonderful condo on the corner of 2nd and Bell. The home is modest and modern and has all the comforts and convenience you would expect from any hotel except Sids place is right in the middle of Belltown and provides the comfort of home as you experience Seattle as a local might. The rooftop patio is as the photos appear and if you happen to have a car, then there is a convenient underground parking garage available to you (for a nominal fee that is) Belltown - honestly if you can't find a place to eat, drink or hangout that meets your fancy within 2 blocks of the front door then I would say you might not like stuff because this area is bustling with world cuisine and whatever entertainment your hearts desire. . So anyway with all that being said our experience was amazing and I wouldn't even consider staying anywhere else while in Seattle.

    Neil2015-10-06T00:00:00Z

Comfy queen sized bed, nightstand and dresser. Western view from guest bedroom with peek-a-boo view of the Olympic Mountains. Basic bathroom amenities included as well as a light Continental breakfast with coffee and tea. Fifteen minutes from Sea-Tac airport. Downtown bus line stop within 2 blocks from home, arrive downtown within 20 minutes; connection to light rail at Westlake stop. Two public libraries, coffee house and restaurants within short walking distance.
  • Room for guests is very comfortable with a large bed, very comfortable linens and bed cover. It was perfect that just next to the room there is another space with a small fridge. There was also a hot pot and coffee and tea and yoghurt in the fridge. That was great as we had an early flight to catch. And the location was perfect for us - just 15 minutes from the airport.

    Kristina2018-09-11T00:00:00Z
  • Michael and Joseph offered a very comfortable space and were very understanding. We only had a few hours to stay before and early flight the next morning but they had everything ready for us upon arrival. We had the full upstairs to ourselves and they were very respectful of our schedule. I highly recommend staying with Michael, whatever your needs are.

    Justin2018-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Michael's place was perfect for my girlfriend and me. The bed was super comfortable and the shower had great water pressure! We were also provided breakfast snacks and beverages with our own mini fridge. We had all of the 2nd floor to ourselves. Everything was really clean as well. I'd definitely come back and recommend this to anyone looking for a place in Seattle. Location is less than 20min to downtown!

    Kevin2017-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • Michael’s place was perfect for my quick stop in south Seattle. His place would be very convenient to Sea-Tac and downtown Seattle.

  • Michael’s place is convenient to the airport (and only 20 minutes to downtown Seattle) and the bed is super comfortable...I will be back for sure!

    Robert2019-11-22T00:00:00Z
  • Incredible hosts. So friendly and informative about the location and a quick bite to eat. We arrived late from our flight and we were in a rush for food. They let us just leave our stuff downstairs so we could get some grub quickly. When we got back, they had moved our stuff to our room. My friend was with me and they made sure he was extra comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. Everything was so clean and such a nice home with great gardening skills. We had to catch an early flight and they had a perfect supply of continental breakfast ready for us. If you re looking for safe and friendly environment near a park, come stay here. Great communication. There is no wrong here.

  • Extremely nice and helpful host! The room was clean, private, and in a great location. I would definitely recommend this room for anyone looking for a place to stay in Seattle.

Our home is a place where folks of all walks of life are welcome. We're located close to SEA-TAC airport on a quiet street in Seattle's Rainier Beach neighborhood. We're relatively new home-owners who take pride in our space and are excited to share it with travelers. Guests will have access to the entire lower-level of our home where you'll have the privacy and space for a very laid-back stay in Seattle.
The space we're offering is ideal for 1-4 people. There is a large private bedroom (with a queen bed) and the option to put a queen air mattress in the spacious private living room and dining area. There is also a private bathroom with a shower for guests only. There's a full sized living room with a TV and Netflix access. The dining area has a breakfast table and a "kitchenette" that consists of a mini-fridge and microwave (ideal for leftovers or DIY breakfast), and coffee maker / tea kettle. PLEASE NOTE: there is NOT an oven or stove in the suite. We provide complimentary coffee and tea, and the rest is up to you.
Rainier Beach is a quiet, low-key, diverse neighborhood in south Seattle with a number of hidden gems. Our favorite is the short 5-minute walk to Kubota Gardens, one of Seattle's most beautiful public parks - ideal for a morning or evening stroll. We also live about a 10-minute walk from Safeway, a major grocery store with everything you might need for DIY breakfasts. Within a 15-minute walk you can find great spots like Redwing Coffee, Jude's Tavern, and a number of other restaurant options. We're also a short drive from hot spots like Columbia City (with everything), gorgeous Seward Park, or the Museum of Flight - and that's all just in south Seattle. With the Link Light Rail only a mile away, most of Seattle's top sights are easily navigated on public transportation.
  • Lovely space!

  • Quiet, fashionable, clean and spacious place to stay, almost an apartment. Very private.

  • Solid stay, very close to the link rail and super swanky.

  • This place is a great location and short drive to SeaTac airport and Pike Place Market. It was what I expected plus some more. My fiancée and I love the decor and appreciates the small touches (water, coffee/tea, serve wares). Highly recommend to anyone and will be staying here again.

This is charming detached, completely private studio guest house located centrally in the Madison Valley neighborhood in Seattle, Washington. It has a full private bathroom with shower and tub, a private keyless entrance, and a kitchenette with a small refrigerator. It also has off-street parking if you're driving, and access to a charming backyard area for relaxing.
Entrance: Check-in is easy, because the door is secured with an entrance code that is not reused. No keys to get or return! We send you your code and you can enter at any time day or night without arranging a time for us to give you keys. Privacy: This is a 100% private, detached unit. Parking and Driving: There is free parking available on 30th Avenue or on Dewey behind the unit. 520 is about 5 minutes away, giving you very quick access to either I5 or the East Side. Transportation: There is a ZipCar at 24th and Madison. There are usually Car2Go cars on Madison near by. The bus stop is at E Madison St & 28th Ave E, less than a five minute walk away. Downtown is about ten minutes on the 11 bus. The 8 bus provides quick access to Seattle Center, Capitol Hill, Rainier Valley, and the Mount Baker Link station. Internet: Free internet of course. We *don't* currently have a TV in the unit. Fine Dining: Madison Valley has some of Seattle's best dining. Our favorite reastaurants within a five minute walk are: Luc, Voila, La Cote, and Belle Epicurean (all French), The Harvest Vine (Basque), Cafe Flora (vegetarian), and Jae's (Asian bistro). Fast Food: Pagliacci Pizza is located one block North East on Lake Washington Blvd and Madison. There is also a Pizza Hut (carryout or delivery only) and a Terriaki place on Madison and 28th. Groceries: For groceries Trader Joe's (Madison and 17th) and Safeway (Madison and 22nd) are within walking distance, but be aware they are uphill! Convenience Store: Madison Valley Market (Madison and 29th) is less than five minutes away and has lots of groceries, snacks, beer and wine. Coffee: The Essential Baking Company (Madison and 29th) is a great place to grab a cup of coffee and a snack, or a full meal. Belle Epicurean is also a good place for a quick cup of coffee. Bed: This is an Ikea Hemnes king-sized bed with mattress and boxsprings. Bath: You get a full private bathroom with a soaker tub, shower, and plenty of towels. Kitchen: You have a half-sized refridgerator with freezer in the unit that you can use. There is also a kitchen sink, a microwave and a small (two person) coffeemaker. We also provide a tea kettle, a hot-plate and a small sauce pan. (Although we don't recommend this kitchen for lots of cooking as there is no kitchen exhaust fan.) Safety: This is one of Seattle's safest neighborhoods. Since you're in our backyard, we're around in case you need any assistance. Health & Fitness: Lila Yoga (29th and Madison) is a fantastic yoga studio. Kate's Day Spa (2713 E. Madison Street) is an excellent place to relax, and is open on weekends. Seattle Shambhala Center is a Buddhist Temple and is located two blocks down. It has an Open House (good for beginners) every Thursday evening. Arboretum: The best thing about this neighborhood is the Arboretum. You're less than five minutes away -- just cross Madison. Arboretum highlights include hiking, canoeing and kayaking, picnics, a full soccer court, and enjoying the year-round collection of magnificent flowers, plants and trees. The Arboretum also houses the Seattle Japanese Garden, open from February to November, a 3 1/2 acre formal garden. It features a lake with koi and turtles, community room rentals, tea ceremonies and special events all year round. At the north end of the park is Foster Island, which is an amazing and peaceful place to visit, with pedestrian trails that connect the island to the mainland. Madison Park: Madison Park is within walking distance, although a longer walk than some may want to take. In the summer this park becomes Seattle's access to swim in Lake Washington.
Madison Valley is a charming Seattle village with a European flair. We offer an eclectic mix of sophisticated shops, services, and restaurants. Our independently owned businesses attract visitors from afar, and shopkeepers greet customers by name. Here you’ll find people enjoying the good life, strolling the sidewalks, pausing to chat and explore. Join us, say hello, and stay awhile.
  • It is the perfect location in Seattle, a close 10-15min to everything while walking distance to the arboretum and coffee/restaurant/shops. J's place was dog friendly and his neighborhood was perfect for evening walks. Bring your own coffee and tea for the morning and the mini fridge is perfect for leftovers. We didn't mind not having a TV as it really helped us disconnect for vacation. We look forward to our next trip to Seattle!

    Emily2017-03-31T00:00:00Z
  • J's place was very comfortable easy to find and true to description. The bed was super comfortable. The appliances and heat system were quiet which was especially nice.

    Anne2016-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • This was a nicely sized guest house in a more residential side of Seattle. Very quiet and relaxing. Yet, it's only a short drive for all the popular sights, shops, and restaurants in the city. The room itself had all the basic things we needed to be comfortable (accurate to the advertised photos), and check-in and check-out was a breeze. J has a hands off approach, giving his guests a private experience, but he is around and available if needed. Would love to stay there again!

    Reginald2016-04-16T00:00:00Z
  • The stay was great. Comfortable bed, very clean, quiet and near good restaurants and arboretum. Enjoyed!

    Christine2015-07-24T00:00:00Z
  • Nice! The guest house had everything I needed. Easy in and out. The area is beautiful! Plenty of restaurant choices. Near the highway.

    Jenn2015-04-22T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent place to stay, looks just like the pictures and was very cozy. Check in and out was very easy and the place had everything we needed for 2 nights. There are even lots of books to read! Would definitely stay here again.

  • Walking distance to shops, restaurants, coffee, bakery and more. Very quiet neighborhood with easy parking. Your very hospitable host is onsite since you are in his backyard, which is a shared space. Our few requests were immediately handled thanks to that set up.

This is studio #17 - a private guest room designed as a simple & affordable space for arts-related guests near the heart of Seattle's downtown gallery district. But you don't have to be an artist to stay here - all are welcome!
**Please click on "read more" and read everything below before booking** Our place is a bit unusual and we want to be sure it's a great match for your style of traveling. Please read all details below, plus the house rules so you don't miss anything that might really matter to you once you get here. You'll have this private room all to yourself. It's located among a group of art studios on the second floor of a commercial building. We're in the Japantown area of Seattle's historic International District, a few blocks east of Pioneer Square and the sports stadiums. The bed has a luxurious Novaform queen mattress & very comfortable fresh bedding. We also provide towels, extra pillows & blankets, bath robes, and other amenities. Free wifi and satellite tv w/HBO are included. We recently finished a major remodel of the room, which is why there’s a gap in our reviews. So yes if you've stayed here before this is the same place, but even better! There's only one guest room now, and the guest bathroom is now private, just for you. ~~~~~~~~~ important notes: • There's a private bathroom with keypad entry just outside the room dedicated only for our guests. You'll need to step out into the hallway to reach the bathroom, but it's just a few feet away. • This is not a room in an apartment building - the other rooms on the floor are artist work spaces. The room is quiet and the artists don't live here. • The room has a skylight, and no other windows. It has a mini-split hvac unit for air conditioning & heat. There's also a ventilation exhaust fan on the ceiling which will clear out stale air and draw in fresh air from the hallway as needed. • There is a long flight of stairs to get up to our floor (no elevator). • Our listing is a little unusual and we want to be sure it's going to meet your needs before you choose to book it. Please send us a note with the secret code word TEDDY (that's our dog) - this will let us know you hung in there and read the whole thing. • Also before booking make sure your user i.d. profile is complete, including a good clear photo of you. It helps with security in our building to be able to identify guests. Thank you!
This is a fun & interesting international neighborhood with lots of quirky shops and tons of food choices - including a great sushi restaurant right in our building. There's quick take-out to high end, and everything in between. Uwajimaya Asian specialty supermarket is close by, plus coffee shops & bakeries - you won't go hungry in this neighborhood! • Check our online Guidebook to see all the great restaurants & attractions we've bookmarked in our neighborhood. We also have a guidebook in the room when you arrive with some of our favorite spots nearby for food, plus maps and other details. • We're just a few blocks from the baseball & soccer/football stadiums. There are many bars and clubs within walking distance, and even more just a quick bus ride away. Since the building is right downtown you can also easily visit the Seattle Art Museum, Sculpture Park, Pike Place Market, the Space Needle, Experience Music Project, and many other great Seattle attractions. • Please note that we're right next to the Pioneer Square neighborhood, which tends to have some homeless people on the streets. Along with the conveniences of being right downtown - great public transportation & cool places to visit - this is city life and we don't recommend walking around by yourself late at night.
  • We had a wonderful stay at Dirk & Jackie's - the location is superb! Very clean & cozy flat with one of the comfiest beds we've ever slept in. Walking distance to great pubs, restaurants, Pike Place Market and a 10 minute walk to Century Link field. It was great to meet both Dirk and Jackie, as well as their sweet puppies. Wouldn't think of staying anywhere else if we make it back.

  • An excellent little hideaway in the centre of Seattle, close to all transportation hubs, restaurants and site seeing. Clean, compact accommodation, fit for purpose. Would recommend to others.

  • My stay was very brief--about 10 hours total. I arrived late in the evening but getting settled in was easy as the place was just as described and everything accessible. And if I was uncertain, there were plenty of post-it notes which was helpful ("Were you just reading my mind?") and Dirk and Jaq were very clear they were available should I need anything. The place--including hallway and bathrooms--were absolutely clean. The only hiccup I experienced was trying to figure out the key lock in the dark. There was a handy book of recommendations on the desk. I ate at the sushi restaurant downstairs which was fantastic and went to the recommended Zeitgeist coffee place a few blocks away which was warm and nostalgic feeling. A nice, quiet place to decompress and rest.

  • My best friend and I travel every 4years to a place we have never been. We picked this air B&B to do something different this time. We are in our 60s so probably not the average age of the normal traver. Using the entry key system which was a little low for us was hard, but after that, every thing else was Great. We were up and out by 7:00. Back by 8:30 in the evening. The bathroom was amazing as it was just as clean as mine at home. We did not use the kitchen, but it was nice as well. We showered went to bed and was out again each morning. The doors are industrial and Fire safe. We felt very good there. We would have no problem staying There again, if they would have us back. It was very clean, safe, and quiet. I did not see the owners as we were gone most of the time.

    Phil Ann2015-03-22T00:00:00Z
  • Picking up the key in the key box any time after 4:00 pm is convenient . The studio located in downtown area, the Sea Hawk football stadium are very nearby. It cost approximately 15 min driving to Space Needle, Pike Place Market, 40 min to Boeing Headquarter. So it is really suitable for the travelers. Seattle have endless rain in November, that makes us felt a little uncomfortable, however the heating machine warm room quickly, and our host had prepared the umbrella for the guest. I asked for help when there is a throne in my boyfriend finger, Jaq found needle and tweezers for us, she is a kind and easy going lady. Feel free to live in the studio and have nice trip to Seattle.

    Xueji2015-11-18T00:00:00Z
  • My friend and I had a great stay at Dirk & Jaq's place. The room is modern, clean, stylish, bright, and airy. The bathroom is clean, spacious and private, solely for our use. The walk up to the apartment is just one flight of stairs, not bad at all. My friend and I were able to easily walk up with our suitcases. The location is good, a few blocks from the train to the airport and the lightrail, but most of the time we walked everywhere including Pike Place market. Even though this is a shared space with other artists, we never heard anyone else and after we saw Dirk and Jaq on arrival we didn't run into anyone, so it felt like we had the place to ourselves.

    Lina2019-07-13T00:00:00Z
  • The space was just as pictured—everything was well-kept and clean. Great location, too (and free parking on Sundays, which was awesome). I would definitely stay here again.

    Erin2013-03-18T00:00:00Z
  • Dirk & Jaq were great hosts and the place was exactly as described. Great location with access to transit everywhere. Everything was clean and we never had any issues with the shared spaces. Thanks again for everything!

Historic building downtown is home to a cute and efficient unit that sleeps up to 4 guests. This flat is steps from the Seattle waterfront, Pike Place Market, Gum Wall and the Seattle Art Museum. We strive to make your stay comfortable so it is packed with tiny extras like coffee, TV subscriptions and extra blankets.
This unit is located in the heart of downtown. The rooftop view toward the water and Great Wheel is hard to beat especially during a vibrant Seattle sunset. The unit is efficient and sleeps 4 guests comfortably.
The unit is in the busiest part of the city. It is next door to Pike Place Market, Gum Wall, the SAM, Aquarium, Great Wheel and waterfront piers. This part of the city is nestled among other hotspot areas of downtown such as Belltown, the shopping district, Capital Hill and Pioneer Square. Each of these spots can be accessed by bus or light rail, the station is just two blocks away.
  • We had an excellent stay here. The location is perfect for accessing Pike's Place Market, the aquarium & the city in general. The unit is comfortable & is as the pictures show. Communication with Olivia & Brian was great. The instructions to get into the building are extensive but very clear. If you just follow them, you shouldn't have a problem. We were able to find parking on the street at night for free & moved to a lot during the day for $30. So if you have to have your car, it's doable. I definitely recommend this place!

  • This location was ideal. Loved the proximity and the rooftop patio was a great way to relax and take in the waterfront - especially at night. Sparkling clean and great communication with host. Easy self check in even though we arrived late and very tired. Crashed and slept well. It is in a busy part of town but they had a great fan that created white noise and we all slept soundly. Can’t thank Olivia and Brian enough for a great weekend in Seattle.

It is exceptionally comfortable, beautifully appointed and most thoughtfully maintained. And Fern was most responsive to all our travel needs. I would definitely recommend this home.

100% self-contained studio loft attached to main house overlooking small city park. Nothing is shared. 160 sq. foot 1st floor with kitchen (gas stove/full fridge) plus 140 sq ft loft bedroom climbed via ladder, plus full bath with washer/dryer. Fully furnished (linens/pans, etc). "Flexible" check-in means unit is ready by 1pm, or earlier if prior guests left early (you can drop off bags early). Late arrivals are fine. Check-out time is 12pm, or later if the next guests are arriving later.
While our house is 110 years old, this cottage is only 25, and was built by a contractor given the task of "creating the feel of a Vermont cabin." It is your own space, with private entry, and is separate from our other unit on Airbnb ("Private entrance and central"). Queen bed in loft. Through your windows you will see lots of trees, hummingbirds, woodpeckers, and endless squirrels. Inside you will find art from our many travels, including India, Brazil, Mexico, Morocco, etc. We supply pots/pans/towels. Just bring your clothes. Two caveats: First, if you don't feel comfortable climbing a ladder to your bed, or climbing down a ladder in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, this is not the spot for you. Second, while the first floor ceiling height is 7 feet, the upstairs loft ceiling is shaped like an "A-frame" roof, with the center being around 6 feet, sloping lower as you crawl into bed. Our first tenant of 7 years was a 6-foot female, who was quite content. Both her and our later tenant had regular-visiting boyfriends who seemed just fine without banging their heads. But, if you don't want to duck as you get into bed, this is not the spot for you. Two guests only - sorry, no extra guests.
"Madrona" is one of the most central/desired neighborhoods in Seattle. You can walk 45 minutes to downtown, or in the other direction to Lake Washington or in another direction to the vibrant Capitol Hill. Or take a 20-30 minute bus ride to each, or drive there in 10 minutes. Within a 10 minute walk you have access to a supermarket, roughly 15 restaurants, 2 coffee shops, and a bakery around the corner from our house.
  • We loved everything about this charming loft! The location was close (but not too close) to downtown one way, and Lake Washington the other way! Phil gave us a warm and wonderful greeting upon our arrival, and we also received wonderful treats baked by Andrea! We would love to stay again next time we visit the Seattle area!

    Jordan2017-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • This is a perfect place for 2 people visiting Seattle! Very cozy and inviting. Phil was a great host! We were given tasty pastries every night which was such a great treat! Phil was helpful in things to do in the area. Take a 15-20 minute walk and you'll find a variety of coffee shops, bars, restaurants, shops, gardens everywhere, etc... Such an easy location for über or lyft drivers to find. I highly recommend booking your next stay here! It truly felt like our own little cottage! Loved the pond with the Koi fish.

    Theresa2016-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay. We loved all the special touches. The ladder to the bedroom loft was no problem. We would definitely stay again.

    Linda2019-10-10T00:00:00Z
  • Such a comfortable and homey space! We loved the neighborhood too. Phil and Andrea had great suggestions for what to do nearby. As a bonus, your stay comes with professionally baked treats still warm from the oven!

  • Phil and Andrea are perfect hosts. Not only do they offer a cozy place to stay, but they also offer tips for local coffee and food places, a little guide to local birds, and drop off some very tasty pastries every once in a while. I would highly recommend anyone visiting Seattle for their first time or thier hundredth time to stay with Phil and Andrea for a guaranteed good time.

Our contemporary studio is filled with lots of warm and inviting touches that will instantly make you feel welcome and comfortable. Located in the heart of the Columbia City neighborhood, the studio comfortably sleeps two and is only one block from great restaurants, shops and entertainment. Additionally, it’s only four blocks from the Columbia City light rail station so it’s easy and convenient to get around or go exploring without a car. This is a great place to start your stay in Seattle!
We designed the space with the Airbnb traveler in mind, so it will quickly become your home away from home. This is a completely separate 250 sq. ft. studio that sits behind the main house. It’s modeled after a boutique hotel room and loft studio with its modern design, high ceiling, contemporary finishes, and lots of natural light. Inside you’ll find a queen bed with fluffy pillows and blankets, a coffee and breakfast bar with complementary coffee, water, snacks and a small refrigerator and microwave. Additionally, the studio has a hand made table made from reclaimed redwood which is large enough to accommodate two for a meal or serve as a desk to get some work done. Finally there’s a comfy club chair and ottoman so you can do some reading or watch TV. The contemporary theme is continued in the bathroom with its granite countertop and subway tiles in the shower. The bathroom also has a fair sized closet with enough room to hang a few items and store your folded clothes. We provide towels and washcloths for two people, as well as a hair dryer, soap, shampoo and an iron and ironing board. Behind the studio is a dedicated off-street parking space with access via the alley. Getting here is easy as it’s only a four block walk from the Columbia City light rail station and less than 10 minutes from Interstate 5. A bus stop that services several routes is only a block away, should you want to take the bus to get around during your stay. ------------------------------------------- Check out our Guidebook to see all of the great restaurants and other things to do in Columbia City that are all within a two block walk. The guidebook can be found in the upper right corner of the page on the web site only. ----------------------------------------------- The door has a keypad entry lock which makes check in / check out quick and easy. If you like, I'll meet you at the space take a few minutes to show you how things work or you can check yourself in. Registered guests will have exclusive access to the entire unit and everything inside including the complementary beverages and snacks. You’ll also have use of the dedicated off-street parking space which is big enough for a large sedan. The main house is a duplex and both units are rented by our full time tenants so our interaction with each other depends on you. We'll meet you at check in to show you around the space and answer any questions. We live only a few blocks away and are available via phone or text to provide advice, directions, etc. should you need them. Columbia city is one of the most walkable neighborhoods with plenty of restaurants, shops vintage stores and an active night life all only one block away. Several bus routes with frequent schedules are only one block away, four blocks away is the Columbia City light rail station which provides service to downtown Seattle in about 20 minutes or the airport in about 30 minutes.

  • Marcus was an awesome host. He gave us awesome suggestions and made us feel right at home. The place was clean and beautiful. The neighborhood is perfect for travelers. Highly recommend!

  • We loved staying here! Comfy little studio, walking distance to Columbia City and to the light rail. Marcus, the host, was very nice and quick to respond. He also gave us a lot of local tips about the area when we first met him. I would definitely recommend it, and even stay in it again in the future!

  • Great location and easy check in. Can't wait to stay here again on my next trip to Seattle!

  • Had a great stay in Seattle, place was clean and well stocked. Area was nice and trendy, easy transit into downtown Seattle as well.

    Justin2014-07-29T00:00:00Z
  • We loved the experience at Marcus and Lara's Studio. Columbia City is a nice neighbor hood and there are great Coffee shops and Restaurants just a few blocks away. The light Rail is also just a short 4 block walk. Marcus was very helpful and accommodating, even when we were late arriving to the Studio after issues at the airport. He walked us through, gave us suggestions on where to go, what to eat, etc. He was very friendly. The studio had a nice, comfortable bed, a TV, wifi, bathroom and shower and Keurig for coffee! My girlfriend and I would definitely stay again.

Voted as a Top 10 coolest AirBnB rental in Seattle by Curbed Magazine! My houseboat includes an amazing location, a beautiful interior, a kayak to explore Lake Union, and much more! We have completed the rooftop deck that adds amazing views . It’s a perfect spot to relax or host others and enjoy a meal or a drink while taking in the scenery. See also my other property the yacht on the lake called the Sharon Lee for rent in my profile (click on the profile pic)
There's a lot that makes this a great place to stay. It's such a relaxing place to be. You'll love laying on the bed or the couch and looking out onto the water as you slowly realize you are floating! There's custom bamboo flooring as well as a custom kitchen. For entertainment there's a 40 inch mounted TV with Netflix accounts ready to go. There's also WiFi and surround sound speakers for movies or connecting to your smart phone/computer for music through Bluetooth. Another great perk is taking the kayak out from your deck to go adventuring on Lake Union. Lake Union has many restaurants, parks, and fun destinations that are close by. Please note there is an outdoor Arlo camera (can be turned off remotely during your stay, just message us) The Alro is pointed outside at the front door for security purposes. It does not see inside. That is the only camera and there are NO cameras inside or any other places.
This is such a prime spot. You are a short walk from the fastest growing spot in Seattle, South Lake Union. It's home to Amazon and many other tech companies along with restaurants, bars, and other amenities. You are about a 20 minute walk to The Space Needle and Seattle Center. You will be less than 5 minutes from Wallingford, University District, the Space Needle and Fremont. Less than 10 minutes to Downtown, both the sports stadiums, Belltown, and Ballard. It's a great location that has a very unique feel, friendly people on the dock and a exciting neighborhood to explore.
  • Beautiful setting, lovely houseboat, great location!

  • A very good alternative to a hotel. Very quiet. We slept in for a whole week. Try IT!!

  • What an absolutely amazing, unique and one of a kind experience! It was a great get-away from the original house or apartment on "land". Jason was an excellent host and was really quick with a response! Also, the local tips he provided us were perfect! The kayak adds that little something for a couple or someone to just get out and go if they find a free day!! outstanding place! A great little home away from home! if you haven't stayed on a house boat, I suggest you stay here!! Enjoy!

    Chase2019-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Jason's place is awesome! Plenty of coffee, even beer and chilled glasses in the fridge. Fully equipped with any kitchen utensils you would need. Jason gave excellent directions. The place is within 2miles of pikes market and the space needle. LOVED this place. Thank you Jason for sharing.

    Jvon2017-01-22T00:00:00Z
  • Jason was very communicative and we had no problem finding and getting into the houseboat. we loved the info packet he put together to help us navigate the house and neighborhoods nearby. unfortunately, our stay was very short and we didn't get to use the kayak or explore enough. one area of improvement could be in the cleanliness of the bathroom. Thanks, Jason!

    Meredith2016-11-02T00:00:00Z
  • We were informed the toilet had a little bit of an issue, therefore we needed to turn on/off a switch every time we used the toilet (which was not a big deal to us). The first night - we detected a sewage odor mixed with plug in scented oil. I felt nauseous, but thought it might be the scent. We unplugged it and kept on walking up the the sewage smell. At first with thought it might be normal we never stayed at a houseboat. Communication was excellent with the host. Prompt response and he brought a dehumidifier (the next day) to help with the scent. But the 2nd Night the smell tripled and the toilet kept bubbling. Every bubble that erupted released an invariable sewage odor. Unfortunately, we had to cut our stay from 7 days to 2. The host said the sewage tank might have been full, but we literally arrived after 8pm the first night and left early. And the 2nd night we arrived passed 10pm. The host explained that perhaps the tank had not been fully emptied previously. He also said the tank normally gets empty on Tuesday and Friday. But being that we arrived on Saturday night and stayed Sunday... and the smell was so bad we could not stay. :( Mixed feeling because I feel that perhaps it was not completely the host fault, and he tried to be attentive, but at the end of the day it is their responsibility to ensure everything is working accordingly. overall a huge inconvenience and a bit of a safety concern. The host agreed to let us modify our stay and check out on the send day. Prompt refund was issued, but honestly I feel that based on what happened we should have been issued a full refund.

Natural light, cozy and clean, simple vintage charm, refined garden setting. This newly built, detached backyard bungalow is close to parks in a quiet neighborhood, with easy access to dining, shops, and bus lines.
This is a private guest bungalow, fully detached from the main house. Main living area converts from hang-out room, to dining table/work surface seating for four, to bedroom. Wallbed holds a Leesa high-end foam mattress, and wall-mounted tv swivels for viewing from the bed or leather loveseat. DVD/blu-ray player with a selection of movies, access to Netflix, and dedicated wifi. The all-in-one vintage kitchenette includes sink, stovetop, oven, and refrigerator. Microwave, kettle, french press, pots, pans, & utensils. The tiled bathroom is stocked with towels and bathrobes, soap, shampoo & conditioner, hair-dryer, and make-up wipes.
The property is in the Loyal Heights area of Ballard, just south of Crown Hill. Ballard is a hip, historic neighborhood in Seattle's northwest corner known as a hotspot for new restaurants and bars, urban development, and Scandinavian heritage.
  • Wow! Karen's place is such a gem! The vibe is unbelievable. You can tell she put a lot of thought into the decor and design and it's worth it. The yard is amazing and comes with friends -- chickens! It was a super easy walk to the bus stop that took us downtown and to the Link line. Everyone in the neighborhood was very friendly when we asked for directions or recommendations. Perfect place for a solo travel or couples weekend. I really can't wait to go back!

    Jessica2017-05-12T00:00:00Z
  • This place is so adorable! Clean and functional, with thoughtful touches and super fun retro decor. Great location near the heart of Ballard (super fast drive, 25 minute walk). Perfect for what my husband and I needed.

    Tiffany2018-05-21T00:00:00Z
  • Karen's cottage is so lovely and beautiful! She has filled it with welcoming touches like plush robes and nice shampoo and conditioner. The bed is very comfortable and has a down comforter and pillows. I felt like I was staying at a boutique hotel, except it was even more comfortable and well-designed than any hotel! She also helped us out by providing a streamer for our clothes when we asked, and a crib for our son. Felt like we were living the Seattle dream!

    Naomi2016-08-16T00:00:00Z
  • We really loved our stay at Karen’s place! The decor was lovely, the bed was super comfortable, and as a whole it was super clean and cozy. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone staying in Seattle, especially since the Ballard is such a great neighborhood to explore.

    Amanda2019-04-07T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage is small and super cozy. Very clean. We will certainly be going back again for a stay.

    James2019-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • What a well-appointed, lovely cottage! The bed was comfortable and it was situated on a quiet street.

    Marisa2016-06-12T00:00:00Z
  • If I could, I would always stay at Karen's cottage when visiting Seattle. We loved the neighborhood (pretty, quiet, walkable), we loved the cleanliness, the decor, the skylights, the shower, the cute chickens in the yard...everything. We didn't get to meet Karen in person, but she was extremely helpful via text. Even though we were staying in her backyard, we felt we had the place to ourselves. It was a very private space. Thank you again!

    Amy2016-10-30T00:00:00Z
  • Karen’s place was lovely. Looked just like the photos. Very comfortable, quiet and I felt very safe considering I was traveling alone on this trip. The neighborhood was great and it was close to many wonderful coffee shops, stores and restaurants. The home was very clean and I was able to check out a little later at the last minute which was a blessing. Would def stay here again! 💕

  • Very comfortable and quaint experience in the heart of Seattle. Kevin is a nice host with quick responses and plenty of resourceful tips for a very hospitable experience.

    Autumn2019-01-22T00:00:00Z
  • A nice apartment in an older building under restoration - the pictures capture the place exactly. Everything was extremely clean and well prepared, and Kevin was great to deal with. A nice place and a great value. Also nicely located in an interesting Seattle neighborhood, and a great central place to get around the city easily. My only caution would be to say that this is a downtown apartment near restaurants and night clubs, so there's a fair bit of noise outside until pretty late.

    Andy2015-05-22T00:00:00Z
  • Big shout out to Kevin for making my first Airbnb stay AMAZING. Although we didn’t actually meet , the communication was A+ . The apartment is right in a central location to everything and a hop skip and a jump away from where we needed to be . I would definitely stay here again !!

  • My travel plans changed at the last minute so I wasn't able to enjoy Michaels place, but he was great with communication and I'll for sure try it the next time I'm in Seattle!

Right off of Yesler street. This space provides an open view of the city. Sleeps 2 people in a full bed. Property includes laundry mat and gym. Access to pool table, TV, and vending machine in the common area. Several blocks away there are convenient stores as well as Broadcast Coffee Shop and local bars.
The room has a standard bed, a full size fridge, a coffee maker, a desk & chair, and a private bathroom with a shower.
There isn't much of a neighborhood because the apartment is located right off of the sidewalk and you just enter straight into the courtyard.
  • Great place! Good for a one night stay.

    Matt2018-10-09T00:00:00Z
  • Definitely would stay here again. If you are looking for a place to just get ready, shower, and leave your luggage then this is the place. Is very relaxing just going outside to the rooftop and see the view at night

  • Great place and close to everything!

    James2017-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • If you are looking for a clean and modern studio with a prime location, this is the place! It’s a little snug for two people, but we made it work. The rooftop view is amazing, as well as the bed and the shower. What we missed out on during our stay is a few, small amenities such as a full length mirror, paper towels, a working hair dryer (the one provided was broken), and more towels/washcloths. The check-in and check-out processes were easy and Ella was very responsive! She even let us check-in early which was so helpful. This is a nice place to stay, just wish we had a little bit more to work with!

    Claire2019-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Exactly as expected great place!

    Tessa2019-10-16T00:00:00Z
  • It is a nice place. Small and Cosy. Bed large enough for two. Kitchen is shared with the apartment complex. But you got your own bathroom, toilet and bed and even a little desk. Honestly it's everything you need for a stay for two. Coffee place, just a few blocks away. Everything is quite accessible. In walking distance to a lot of things if you don't mind walking. Quite convenient.

    Ambrose2018-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean and modern. Perfect location for people interested in taking public transport. There is literally a bus stop right outside the building and a street car stop one block away. A great value if you want to see Seattle on a budget.

    Tagan2018-05-27T00:00:00Z
  • While you do have to walk up quite a few stairs, it was all worth it to stay up high in a stylish yet simple home. It’s definitely perfect for 1 or 2 people. Loved the view of the skyline from the roof deck.

Our little log cabin is back in action! We are back in the main house after living in the cabin for a year: a fun adventure! About the cabin, it's mostly heated by the wood fireplace. Kitchenette has microwave, 1 burner, mini-fridge, dishes etc. upstairs is full-sized bed
Sweet restored stockade style log cabin right on Haller Lake. You would never know you were within the Seattle city limits! Haller Lake is a quiet, natural spring fed 15 acre lake surrounded by private homes. Custom woodwork inside with artful touches. Sleeps 2 upstairs in full sized bed. Main floor has comfy sofa, kitchenette with microwave, single induction burner cooktop, coffee maker, toaster and small refrigerator, teapot, dishes and glasses; 3/4 bath with new stone tile shower. This cabin is heated mainly with the wood fireplace. The photos show the old wood stove. You can now watch the flames and there is a fan to spread the heat around a little better. There is also a deLonghi oil heater to add a little more heat when needed. There is a TV now with AppeTV, a dvd/Blu-ray player and WiFi. Bring slippers, the stone floor gets chilly. Fish from the dock or take a ride in the paddleboat. We have a canoe which we recommend you being already familiar with canoeing since it’s tippy....The boats are out of the water in the winter. No pets please! We are now living in the main house. We have an Australian Shepherd and a flock of chickens (the dog and chickens do not come into the cabin, just in case you were wondering) Parking is shared with the main house. We are close to Northgate Shopping Mall with shops, restaurants and Thornton Place Cinema. A few blocks to Northwest Hospital and the new proton center (look up ProCure Center) The lake is about 20-35 minutes from downtown Seattle via I-5 or highway 99 (can be a bit more in heavy traffic). Bus route #345 and #346 stop at the end of the driveway. If you are interested in having a party or many friends over, please clear it with us before making your reservation. We have limited parking and there is no parking down our communal access road. Check out by noon, Check in no earlier than 2pm, sometimes later if I can't get the cabin ready because of work. To be agreed upon according to schedule. If you want an early morning check-in, please book the night before.
The cabin is in beautiful natural surroundings on Haller Lake. The lake is a quiet, natural spring fed lake that covers 15 acres, surrounded by private homes. It’s within the Seattle city limits.
  • This was an incredible in-city retreat away. Outstanding hosts, quiet and private. The fire going when we arrived on a cold night was much appreciated!

  • I stayed in this cute little log cabin with my boyfriend late April. The place was better than I had expected! The weather was beautiful and we were able to take advantage of it on the lake by using a paddle boat that Roberta dried for us. Communication between Roberta and Dan was great - they responded to all my emails in a quick and friendly manner. We had no problems at all with check in and out stay. It was a little tricky to find the place as I almost drove by the first time, but there is a street sign that will guide the way. I really enjoyed my trip, it was the perfect getaway! The cabin was isolated enough that you wouldn't know it was only a 5 minute drive away from the shopping mall. Will definitely be back!

  • Roberta and Dan have the most charming cabin, and home. it is so cosy. we flew in to Seattle to take an Alaskan cruise and stayed two days after. we found their place on airbnb and we are sure glad. pure relaxation, no tv no phone. you do not need it. the lake sounds sing you to sleep and help u rise. we will be back, absolutely love it. thank you Roberta and Dan for sharing this gem with others. • Cosy and private. Beautiful spot, and took us only 15-20 mins to get to the city. Roberta was also very helpful and welcoming. I'd highly recommend this place to stay!

  • Roberta & Dan were excellent hosts. This was my first time using Airbnb and it was a great experience. This was a great place nestled away right in town, but you'd never know it. It's a perfect place for two and you couldn't ask for better hosts.

  • We loved Roberta and Dan's charming cabin, and they were super-friendly, even when I failed to extricate a failed experiment from their log-splitter. Will definitely stay there again.

  • Beautiful cabin, gorgeous lake, amazing hosts. We could not be happier with our stay at Roberta and Dan's cabin. They were incredibly helpful throughout the entirety of our stay and very hospitable. Without a doubt we will be back! Highly recommended!

  • So happy to have found this little oasis!! The cabin is comfortable and cozy; the surroundings peaceful. We had a great time on the lake, testing out both the canoe and the paddle boat :) Already looking forward to our next stay!

This includes cooking supplies like pans, plates, oil, salt and pepper etc. We also have a Keirig Coffee Maker with a generous supply of K-Cups, light snacks and other thoughtful touches. The bath includes a shower with on-demand water and a supply of toiletries and towels for your use. There is a storage closet in the bath for clothes and extra linens. If you are staying longer than three days, I will provide fresh towels and linens for you upon request. The bedroom loft is cozy and features a double size bed. The ladder up to the loft is custom-made to retract from the wall for easy access. When it is not in use, it slides flush to the wall to allow for more room in the living space. The space is "cozy" so if you are tall or have issues with smaller spaces the loft sleeping area may not be the right fit. You must be able to climb a short ladder to get up and down so please be mindful of this when booking. There is a couch which allows for an extra person to sleep in the unit if you wish. There is a blow up Twin bed in the ottoman in sitting area. I also have a portable crib that you are welcome to use. Just let me know. I'm pretty strict about maxing out at 3 guests. Children under 8 are not allowed in the loft area for safety-sake. This rental Includes cable tv with HBO and other fun channels as well as access to wireless Internet. The overall look and feel of the space is what I call, "Modern Nautical". Ballard is an old fishing town that has become the culinary hot spot of Seattle. The colors and lighting fixtures give homage to Ballard's history. There is plenty of free off-street parking and access to one of the best neighborhoods in Seattle is just a short walk away! There are quite a few quick service/family run (no chains) restaurants within a block from the house along with a great fruit stand and espresso shop. Grocery and drug stores are within 5-7 blocks away. The bus stop to a main arterial is a 1/2 block away. A great bakery is only 2 blocks away. This is a great location for those of you vacationing without a rental car. Pretty much anything you need is less than a 10-15 minute walk away. Even if you have a rental car, you can leave it parked and just explore all the fun stuff in Ballard! We look forward to meeting you! -Errin & Olivia
Ballard is a great neighborhood with tons of bars and little restaurants. Just ask me and I'm happy to share some of my faves.
  • Errin is a friendly and helpful host and her home is cute and cozy! Loved that the location was quiet, but still close to many of the things we wanted to do!

    Aubrey2017-04-23T00:00:00Z
  • Errin’s place was clean and cozy. Excellent location, walkable to downtown Ballard which had tons of great restaurants, coffee shops, and bars. Really enjoyed our stay, Errin was a great host.

  • The host was great. Welcomed me soon after arrival and gave me some good pointers around the area. Room as very much as pictured and the loft not daunting at all. Such a selection on cable was awesome. Nothing left wanting in either kitchen or bathroom. Great location close to Ballard (which is awesome) and a short walk to the rapid ride bus to downtown Seattle Seemed to be a good walking area and a couple of good eateries a stones throw away (or just a 15 min walk into Ballard for a lot of options

  • Erin was very helpful through our 1st time using AirBNB. She answered all question and us idea where to go and get around Seattle. If we go back to Seattle would to stay there again!!!

    Geno2016-10-19T00:00:00Z
  • The accommodations were an excellent value for the Ballard area. Amenities we found most useful were the hot tub, coffee, and snacks.

    Richard2018-08-28T00:00:00Z
  • This was a fun tiny house to stay in complete with TV & couch, a spacious bathroom, hot tub, deck, and hummingbirds! It suited our needs perfectly. However, if you're sleeping two to the bed, one of you will at some point bump an elbow or a noggin on the slanted ceiling! Heads up!

    Manuel2017-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • I would definitely recommend staying here! The house was wonderful to come back to after each day of touring the city, and Errin provided us with everything we needed. She was easy to contact and super welcoming. The bed was really comfortable too!

    Rachel2014-04-09T00:00:00Z
  • Thank you, Errin, for a lovely stay. The tiny house was perfect for one person for a month. It was very private and quiet, yet only one block from a major bus route and at least 5 good places to eat within several blocks. Only 8 blocks from the heart of Ballard. Errin was a great host and provided everything I needed. The weather was pretty cold occasionally, but the heaters kept the house nice and toasty. I'd love to stay here again if I have the opportunity.

Historic renovated studio apartment that has 98 walk score and is only a 10 minute walk to Pike Place Market. It's a corner unit apartment with 13-foot ceiling and has all the essentials. Top Pot Donuts (best Seattle donuts) is right next door!
This studio condo is in downtown Seattle right in the center of everything! You'll be within walking distance of Pike Place Market, Space Needle, Chihuly Garden and Glass, EMP Museum, and Pacific Science Center.
Belltown is a great neighborhood and is at the heart of everything. Pike Place market, Space Needle, EMP Museum, and Chihuly Garden and Glass are all within walking distance.
  • It was so close to Pike’s and all of the bedding provided was super comfortable! Definitely enjoyed staying here for a couple of days the only thing would be that there was a lot of street noise, but that is what is supposed to be expected since you’re so central.

    Nadine2018-05-10T00:00:00Z
  • Kumail's place was exceptional for our stay being that it was really close to everything my gf and I wanted to visit. Parking was easy during later hrs. We always had a parking spot before we got back. It was a little noisy at night, but it was actually soothing. Kumail responded quickly to my texts/calls so that's always a plus. The only con was that before checking in, we decided we wanted to cook spaghetti for dinner, assuming since there was a kitchen that there will be cookware. Nope. All good though. . We bought a pot and a couple cooking utensils for future guests (read the journal for our experience). Happy holidays!

    jessica2015-12-24T00:00:00Z
  • Our first AirBNB experience was a great one thank to Kumail and his amazing little downtown studio! Right when we pulled up my husband and I knew this was so our scene. A charming little brick building conveniently located next to just about everything and right next door to the famous Top Pot donuts. Immediately upon walking in we noticed extreme cleanliness, great use of space and decor, and a really comfortable feel that made us wonder why we ever waste money on hotels. This apartment is walking distance from just about everything. We regularly made the 5-10 minute walk to Pike Place and to the surrounding area bars and restaurants, and even comfortably walked to Safeco field and back. I will say the weather was fabulous while we were there, and this could affect how far you feel good about walking, but the location itself provided this opportunity. My husband and I dreamed of having a crash pad similar to this one, and we will absolutely be staying in AirBNB's from now on! It was a wonderful way to immerse yourself into the city and feel a little more local, and Kumail's apartment in particular really provided a wonderful experience.

    Melanie2018-04-21T00:00:00Z
  • You will not find a better deal or a better location in Seattle! The space is perfect for two people, and is very clean. Kumail let us drop off our bags before check-in which was so helpful. Great, quiet building. Everything is just as described. The water heater makes a little noise, but it's very tolerable! Warm, cozy apartment with a great vibe.

    Katherine2019-11-18T00:00:00Z
  • This was a simple, no frills studio that fit our budget and allowed for a great stay in Seattle! It is a 10 minute walk from Pike Place! We would stay here again.

    Hailey2019-05-18T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our stay here. The place was very clean and modern, equipped with towels, shampoo and conditioner, body wash, blow dryer. The location is amazing, located in downtown Seattle, close to pikes place, space needle, etc. For light sleepers it can get a bit noisy but the host also provided earplugs.

    Jennifer2016-11-08T00:00:00Z
  • Easy self check-in & out, great location! GREAT SHOWER PRESSURE! We have been on road for couple nights and your apartment had the best water pressure :)

    Sachi2016-05-18T00:00:00Z
  • The pros: this Airbnb is in Belltown, the heart of downtown Seattle and central and everything you'd want to walk to. It's a 5 minute walk to the needle, uber is easy to grab, and the rails are quick and easy to access to get to pike place or you can walk. Belltown itself has a lot to offer. The apartment fit all of us quite well. The bed and the fold down futon were comfortable, there's great wifi and tv. Street parking is free overnight but not abundant, and there are daily pay lots very close to the building. The cons: check in directions weren't communicated well as you'd expect or I typically get with Airbnb. I had to click a lot of links to find the check in codes for the building, then the code given was wrong. I text to ask and about 15 minutes after no response called and was able to get the correct codes to get into the building and apartment. That was a little frustrating. There is no a/c and a fan that didn't help much. We happened to be there on a very hot week, so all the windows were open to help with he heat, and this is a very loud part of town, so be warned that ear plugs will be helpful. The space has all the basics, towels are very tiny but they work. There are all kitchen essentials, and the building the secure (code entry). It's an average place and a great location.

Belltown is one of the most sought after neighborhood in Seattle. Such a great place to be in when visiting Seattle!
  • Amazing apartment with great views, great host, and within walking distance to almost everything! The place was really clean. I could walk to the Pike Place Market, Space Needle, waterfront park, and the Great Wheel easily. There are nice coffee bars and restaurants nearby as well. Location is definitely a 10 star!!! Easy check-in and out. I would definitely recommend Alex's place to anyone traveling to Seattle, it was my first visit to the city and I totally enjoyed my experience.

  • Great location and great view! I bought the transit pass but didn't end up using it because I walked to all the major tourist destination. Alex was a great host and kept the place very clean. The room was very spacious and lots of storage space. Only caveats I had was that in my room I could hear the neighbors next door when they were loud and some train noises.

We recently added a Spiral Staircase to ensure ease of access to the loft for all guest. This comfortable Cottage is conveniently located in the heart of Fremont with private parking in driveway and a fenced-in courtyard. The Cottage is within a short walking distance to downtown Fremont, Greenlake, Phinney Ridge, Woodland Park Zoo and several award winning restaurants and coffee shops.
The Cottage was custom built in 2017 and fitted to make you feel at home. It is located in the rear of the main house, detached, which provides extra peace and quiet in an already safe and restful neighborhood. Unexpectedly, just two city blocks away, you will encounter the vibrancy of Fremont Avenue. There, you will find authentic Seattle coffee shops, coffee roasters, a locally sourced Grocery Store and wide collection of bars and restaurants offering craft-beers and outstanding food.
The cottage sits behind the main house on a quiet street, near good coffee shops, restaurants, and the Woodland Park Zoo. The neighborhood's dramatic hills offer spectacular views of Downtown, the Space Needle, and surrounding mountains.

Watch the flames flicker in the gas fireplace while cozily tucked up in bed. All kinds of fun pieces are on show here, from a carved-wood table and light-up neon screen to abstract canvases. Heated floors are a nice touch in the new bathroom. This fully remodeled basement suite is located walking distance from Queen Anne's best restaurants, bars, shops, and grocery stores. You are a short drive from Seattle Center, Pike Place Market, Downtown Seattle, South Lake Union, Fremont and Ballard. This in-city classic neighborhood is truly in the heart of Seattle.
This is a daylight basement studio apartment with its own separate entrance. We live in the remainder of the house, so you may hear sounds of a family "living" above you. However, we make every effort to be considerate of noise from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Typically, the only complaint we ever get is that during daylight hours a guest periodically hears a running kid above or the faint din of a voice. When booking, please know that you are booking a separate suite in a house with a family living in the rest of the home. If you are a night owl who likes to sleep in, this is not your place. If you are looking for a quiet place to write your thesis during the day, not your place. If the occasional kid running across the floor, bothers you, please choose another listing. Thx!
Take an easy stroll to Trader Joe’s, Safeway, and numerous restaurants, coffee shops, bars, and boutiques. Local favorites include Paragon Bar & Grill and the Americana-themed 5 Spot, while the Kerry Park viewpoint offers great city vistas.
  • This is my second time staying at this Airbnb, and I plan on staying here again. The Airbnb is within walking distance of great restaurants, coffee shops, and a Trader Joe's! As a business traveler, I really enjoy all the thoughtful details like the snacks and sodas in the fridge, and the coffee and tea. two of my favorite details about this Airbnb is the heated floor in the bathroom and fireplace. The hosts are always quick to respond to questions, but give you all the space and you need. I really recommend staying here if you are traveling for work or vacation!

  • Amazing location and friendly, communicative hosts were the highlight of our stay. Scott’s place was very stylish and had great amenities. Would happily stay here again.

    Elisa2018-10-17T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect location, great hosts, comfortable space, and a huge reason why we loved our vacation to Seattle. One of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve had.

    Matthew2019-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • This Airbnb is fantastic. The space is super cute, and I love the fire place. The bed is super soft and the host left cereal and carbonated water in the kitchen when I arrived. I will definitely stay here again.

    Kathryn2019-01-18T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great Airbnb — 10-12 minutes from most neighborhoods in Seattle, but still residential and quiet. Scott's apartment definitely feels like a home away from home, with thoughtful touches like heated bathroom floors, an electric fireplace by the bed, and a Keurig coffee machine. Would definitely stay again!
