“The beach's of Whitsand Bay offer over three miles of stunning sand from Rame Head to Portwrinkle and are considered one of Cornwall’s hidden gems. Reached by steep paths and steps that wind down between the verdant vegitation, these beaches are never crowded. At low tide the long stretches of glistening sand provides great walking or jogging opportunities, whilst the constant swell keeps surfers happy riding some huge waves. Rock pools dotted along the beach reveal fascinating marine life, and out to sea the bay is a popular dive site, home to HMS Scylla, an ex-naval frigate sunk in 2004 to form an artificial reef.”

“Despite the uninspiring surroundings this is my favorite restaurant in plymouth. the food and atmosphere are spectacular. There is a little pub right next door which is also excellent. Rock Salt if I'm not mistaken is the highest rated Plymouth restaurant on Trip Advisor.”

“Trethorne Leisure Park near Launceston is a fantastic family day out and an all-weather family tourist attraction. In the farm park we guarantee you hours of family fun, adventure and entertainment. We have over an acre of outside play areas and over 45,000 sq ft of indoor play areas and adults can join in too! In the animal barn our friendly animals include ponies, goats, lambs and pigs. Why not try our animal activities, bottle feeding the lambs and holding the guinea pigs and rabbits in our ‘In touch with animals’ session. Separately we also have 8 lanes of Ten Pin Bowling, Dodgems Rink, Games Arcade, Restaurant, Gift Shop and Conference Facilities. We feel we offer so many activities on one site, so whatever the weather you can be sure of a fun filled family day out in Cornwall.”

“A really worthwhile and interesting place to visit, The Monkey Sanctuary based in Looe, Cornwall, campaigns to end the primate pet trade and offers a home for life to its victims. Their work is supported by well-known actors like Julie Walters and Joanna Lumley, as well as scientists around the world, including expert Jane Goodall.”
