“The magificant Durdle Door arch and beach is part of the Lulworth Estate and the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site. You can access the shingle beach on foot via a path and steps over the hill from Lulworth Cove or down from the Car Park (located on the cliff top at Durdle Door Holiday Park.). The beach is recommended by the Marine Conservation Society for excellent water quality. The beach shelves steeply in places - please supervise your children at all times.”

“Gorgeous sandy beach with lots of activities for the children. Head for the Middle Beach where there's a great National Trust cafe and lots of equipment for hire. We've had lots of wonderful days out here. On the drive back towards Corfe Castle stop at the layby on your right where you'll usually find an ice cream van, and enjoy wonderful views over Poole Harbour and Brownsea Island. ”

“Durdle Door is part of Dorsets Jurassic Coast. It's a beautiful curved beach that protects you from the wind (if there is any). It is further afield and it take around 40 mins to drive there but it is worth it! There isn't much else around so I would recommend taking a pack lunch or snacks for the day. ”

“For rainy days, or for summer days when you need to cool down, Splashdown is a great option. It's on Tower Park, a leisure complex in Poole, and is home to 13 thrilling indoor and outdoor flume rides and 3 under 5's splash zones. ”
