“At the mouth of the Teifi Estuary, Poppit Sands is a sandy beach backed by dunes. At high water, there is plenty of beach but it’s a low tide when the full extent of sand appears to go almost to Gwbert on the other side. Don’t attempt a crossing, though, the currents are too strong. Watch the tide when it’s coming in. It’s fast!”

“centrally located in Pembroke town centre - you can have guided tours around the ruins, maybe try water divining in the underground "wogans cavern" or climb the ramparts of the castle. Lovely lawned area to sit and relax with a picnic inside the castle grounds which is enclosed. Was the birthplace of Henry VII ”

“One of the most beautiful beaches. A must see if you’re in the area. Its a stunning half an hour walk along the cliffs from the car park at Stackpole Quay, but really worth it. You can walk back via the lovely Bosherton Ponds to make a circular walk. Really stunning. ”

“Sumatran tigers and southern white rhinoceros - meet some of the planet's most spectacular, yet endangered animals at this wonderful wildlife park. Friendly wallabies and lemurs come up to say hello as you wander through their enclosures, while zebras and ostrich stroll through idyllic parkland. Watching the family of gibbons interact is truly a beautiful sight. Afterwards, let the little ones run wild in the giant indoor play area and the seriously fun climbing wall.
