“Drive up HWY 111 to Palm Springs. Park in parking garage off Indian and walk through quaint Palm Springs! There is a great Art Museum up above Palm Canyon. There are amazing places to shop and eat. Our favorite is Lulu's, Las Casualas Nuevas, TRIO, Old Village Pub, Ruby's and so many more! This is a fun, full day event and it is free.”

“If you want to take a break from the desert heat, take the Tram to the pristine wilderness of the Mt San Jacinto state park (8500 ft about sea level). The temperature up in the park is usually 30 degrees cooler than Palm Springs. Enjoy view points, hikes over 50 miles of trails, and visit the natural history museum. Two restaurants offer excellent dining, over night camping is available with advance reservation.”

“A true pool scene, but also a surprisingly delicious local diner in Kings Highway. Ace Hotel is a short walk down the street and completely worth the visit. Treat yourself to a coffee or a drink at the Amigo Room when you get there.”
